Tawang Monastery 🕉️🪷🙏😍
The largest Buddhist monastery in India, situated in the beautiful State of Arunachal Pradesh.
Try locating Tawang on a map, and you'll see how close it is to India's international borders with China/Tibet and Bhutan.
In fact, till about 1914, Tawang was part of Tibet, after which it became part of British India once the McMohan line was drawn. Thereafter it has remained an integral part of India, and a highly revered destination for all.

Not the moon... This one is VENUS, in its crescent phase🌙
The "evening star" Venus is about to leave the western night sky, for a few weeks, before becoming the "morning star". It'll then start appearing in the east before sunrise. 🌞
The phases of our friendly neighborhood twin planet are fascinating to watch through a telescope or binoculars 🔭

That's Venus!
The hottest planet of our solar system... The phases of Venus are similar to the phases of the moon.
Currently we can see a "half Venus", because of the positioning of the Earth and Venus.
Swipe right to see how the two "twin" planets are placed right now. Since we are at a 90° angle, we see half of the lit up Venus, and half of the dark side.

Buddha Park, Tawang 🙏😊
A pretty little area, with the Giant Buddha Statue. Situated in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, it gives a great view of the Tawang Monastery.
The park, and also the temple situated under the Statue, have pictures showcasing various stages of Lord Buddha's life.

Piggy Piggy what colours do you see?? 😂🤩😍
I was under the wrong impression that the hills in North East India are lower than those in Uttarakhand and other north Indian states. Here in Bomdila (Arunachal Pradesh), we are at about 8,000 feet, which is higher than Mussorie, Nainital and Shimla!

Sunset on the Brahmaputra 😍😃
It is just fascinating to watch the Sun rise or set over water. The colours change every minute, and I can never get enough of the view ❤️🤩

The second and third photos show the "PEACOCK ISLAND" or Umananda island, which is the *smallest inhabited river island*. Placed in the middle of the Brahmaputra, it houses a temple.

Allahabad High Court
It's the largest High Court of the country, with a sanctioned strength of 160 judges (including its Bench at Lucknow).
While the High Court of Judicature for the North-Western Provinces (as it was then called) was established in 1866, it moved to the current building fifty years later, in 1916.
In the same year, 1916, the Patna High Court was established, in a building which is an identical twin of the one at Allahabad.
