We Shall Overcome One day..............! Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. He is fearless, bold and firebrand. He faced lathis.
Khalid Rafeeq Bhat has always been in the forefront in the struggle for achievement of the rightful and respectful place of ReTs. He has been subjected to worst kind of state suppression. He was taken in to custody a number of times. He was struck with smoke shells. But nothing could break his resolve. He always stood as a wall on behalf of ReT rights. His thunderous response to police brutality in a Srinagar Police lock up "Gali Nahin Goli Maroo" became a revered slogan in the whole ReT community. His countless sacrifices on numerous occasions have earned him a bravodo- Sher-i-Bandipora. Mr Khalid Rafeeq has been a loyal, committed and sincere soldier of the ReT community. The pain and suffering of ReTs, the humiliation and intimidation of ReTs, the highhandedness and step motherly approach towards ReTs, the injustice and discrimination with ReTs - all pains him a lot. He forgets his twin kids when there is any untoward to any ReT. He rushes to render any possible assistance to any victimised ReT. His family, his relations have no meaning when it comes to upholding the banner of ReTs. The love of this victimised community runs in his blood.
We wholeheartedly welcome Mr. Muzaffar Raina back into the JKReTTF family. We are pleased that he has taken over the responsibility of District President, Ganderbal.
Today, Mr. Raina held a four-hour-long meeting with us, where he shared his vast experience, valuable insights, and vision for strengthening the organisation. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the teachers of District Ganderbal receive the dignity, honour, and respect they truly deserve.
Mr. Raina has worked tirelessly for the honour and dignity of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers. His sacrifices, dedication, and contribution to the organisation cannot be overlooked or forgotten. People who have stood with the teaching community during difficult times deserve recognition and respect.
Our doors remain open to every respected leader and colleague who has contributed to the growth and strengthening of JKReTTF. We will reach out to each one with an open heart, because reconciliation is not a weakness , it is a sign of maturity, strength, and commitment to a larger cause.
This is the true spirit of unity: leaving differences behind, rebuilding trust, respecting every contributor, and putting the organisation and teaching community above individual positions.
The journey ahead is about collective leadership, mutual respect, and one united voice for the honour and dignity of teachers.
Together we stand.
Together we move forward.
Together we serve the teaching community.
JKReTTF , United in purpose, stronger in solidarity.
