We’re pretty quick to point out what’s wrong, what’s missing, or what didn’t go as planned.
But what about everything that’s going right?
We notice the frustrations and give them a voice so frequently.
Why not do the same for the good?
Pause. Notice. Praise. And say it out loud.
The good deserves a voice, too.
💬 What’s something good you noticed today?
Sometimes the resentment we carry toward someone we love isn’t really about what they’re asking of us.
It’s about what we keep agreeing to.
We say yes to avoid guilt, call it love, and wonder why resentment starts creeping into the relationship.
The other person may not even realize we’re struggling.
Love can involve sacrifice. But when guilt becomes the motivation, even our generosity can start carrying resentment.
💬 Are you resenting what someone asks of you, or what you keep saying yes to?
Chew on that one this week. See what shifts. And keep living your light. ✨
You can think about the timing.
Calculate the odds.
Wait until you feel more ready.
Or you can run for the damn frisbee. 😂
Most opportunities don’t come with certainty first.
The confidence grows after you move.
The clarity comes after you try.
And the possibility only exists because you went for it.
You won’t catch everything.
But you can’t catch what you don’t go for.
So this is your sign to Go for it. ❤️
Oh my!
Our senses are gifted with nature’s art, unconditionally.
There is never an admission fee or reservation required.
Nature is always open 24/7.
And the gifts to our overstimulated minds and stressed nervous systems are always FREE.
Nothing is ever asked of us in return.
All we have to do is receive…
So, remember, take the pause, look up, look around and receive. 🩷
Live Your Light.
What gets handed to you doesn’t always have to be handed forward.
Stress travels.
Frustration travels.
Judgment travels.
But so can patience, compassion and kindness.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is notice what an interaction stirred up in us before we carry it into the next one.
Not everything that reaches you needs to keep traveling through you.
💬 This week, ask yourself: Does this need to keep traveling or can it change when it reaches me?

Stormy weekend activities have officially escalated. 😂
Pre-Halloween fashion show, starring one deeply unimpressed model who did NOT approve the wardrobe.
The look?
Bold.
Mysterious.
Slightly against his will. 🎃😂
We love you Loq 🐾🩷!
What if the words you use to describe stress are actually adding to it?
“I’m drowning.”
“I’m falling apart.”
“Everything is crashing down.”
Those phrases may match the intensity of the moment, but there’s a difference between naming an experience and amplifying it.
Precision matters.
“I feel stressed.”
“I’m frustrated.”
“I feel overwhelmed.”
You’re not minimizing what you feel. You’re naming it without adding more threat, imagery, or story than the moment requires.
Sometimes regulation can begin with something that simple.
💬 Pay attention this week: Are you naming what’s happening or adding to what’s happening?
Chew on that one this week. See what shifts. And keep living your light. ✨
Turns out enchanted forests are real.🌲🪄
This was truly a hike of awe and wonder.
Glacial rocks. Mossy knolls. Trees growing over and around stone.
A place where the ancient past and the present seem to collide.
No fairies spotted, but two extremely enthusiastic woodland creatures seemed convinced we were onto something. 🐾😂
There are places that somehow make the world feel a little more magical just by being in them.
This was one of those places.
Live your light 🌞
What if some of what you’ve been calling love… is actually how good someone makes you feel?
Attention feels good.
Being wanted feels good.
Attraction feels good.
Validation feels good.
Excitement feels good.
And all of those things can be part of love.
But they aren’t necessarily proof of it.
That distinction matters because when the excitement changes, attention fluctuates, or familiarity replaces novelty, we can start questioning the relationship itself.
Maybe the better question isn’t only:
“How does this relationship make me feel?”
But also:
“How are we practicing love within it?”
Pleasure matters. So does attraction. So does joy.
But when we stop asking pleasure to continually prove love, we make room to understand both a little more clearly.
💬 What would change if you measured love not only by how it feels, but by how consistently you both practice it?

Fall hasn’t arrived yet.
But apparently it wanted to make sure we kept the date open. 🍂😂
One little flash of color in a sea of green and suddenly I’m ready for crisp mornings, ridiculous amounts of time outside, and everything that comes with my favorite season.
Consider this my official RSVP.
I’ll be there. 🍁
