Sovereign Publishing is a service gateway for books accessibly published in New York City Advances in publishing have liberated authors and publishers alike.

Inspired by the first book printed in America (Bay Psalm Book, 1640), books published by relatives, writings of Kyrgyz authors, manuscripts awaiting a New York publisher, clippings stashed by elders, finds in the New York Public Library, and aspects of sovereignty, Sovereign Publishing exists to produce classic paper-and-ink books for authors whose work simply must be published. Our New York City publishing house offers services in editing, compiling, designing, and formatting for digital printing. In cooperation with industry specialists, we can oversee production of hardcover or softcover books, in colors or black and white, with or without dust jackets, in various sizes and binding styles, in reprintable runs of singles to dozens to thousands to bestseller quantities. Gone are the barriers of cautious editors rejecting all but a relative few of the hope-laden manuscripts submitted to the great New York publishing firms. No longer must presses run thousands of books with high up-front costs and no certainty that most copies will reach consumers. Today, book writers have options beyond the heavy walls of the large publishing fortresses. Sovereign Publishing is a service gateway for first-emboldened or oft-published authors, that they may hold in their hands fine books with messages to preserve.

Torn Between Two Worlds: The Cost of Forgiveness
256 pages
Hardcover

Sue Ann Johnson, a sixteen-year-old girl from a rural town in the Midwest, finds herself torn between the safety and familiarity of her life back home and the complications of an unpredictable new existence in the Philippines. Her family's relocation brings her near the United States Naval Base Subic Bay during the Vietnam War. Sue Ann must quickly learn to confront a world filled with uncertainty and change. Danger is ever present in the environs of Sue Ann's new home. Four Filipino girls are kidnapped from their mountain village, then forced into distressing circumstances in the city where Sue Ann now lives. How might her simple visit to a tailor shop be the key to rescuing these girls? Amidst the upheavals, family tensions emerge when a mysterious letter arrives, postmarked from Manila. As one revelation leads to another and people’s lives are forever affected, how can the Johnsons resolve the crises? Throughout these and other challenges, the Johnson family must endure betrayal and abandonment, while also providing help to others. These hardships and commitments force them to rely more than ever on their faith. Together, they experience the power of God's unfailing love and forgiveness as they strive to overcome adversity. Their story invites readers to consider the complexities of human relationships, with sensitivity to biblical perspectives and promises.
