When we repeatedly imagine stressful scenarios, our thoughts can trigger real emotions like anxiety or fear—even when nothing is happening in the present moment.
✨ A reminder: Not every thought is a fact. Learn to notice your thoughts without letting them control your emotions.
Activities like this can be incorporated into occupational-therapy-based intervention to support skills such as motor planning, body awareness, coordination, attention, balance and following instructions.
