The First Witness

You will be glad to know that YUVA...a movement is bringing out a new magazine with the title “The First Witness” from Delhi. This magazine will basically cover political affairs of national and international nature. Besides this, it will also have some sections on entertainment, sports, lifestyle, youth, health, business, economy, commerce and trade and other contemporary social and cultural issues. As our NGO is dedicated towards the cause of youth related issues, this new venture will also strive to cater to the needs and aspirations of the youth. We propose to develop this magazine as an important forum for crucial political and social debates. The objective is to position this new publication as a vehicle of exchange of ideas, knowledge, expositions, innovations and initiatives. We believe that a publication is not merely a collection of certain articles and write-ups rather it should emerge as an instrument for change in attitude, outlook, vision and behaviour. It should constantly reflect contemporary issues in their correct perspective. Its matter of pleasure that a battery of top media professionals, socoal activists, columnists, political commentators an analysists, subject experts, academicians is behind this project and actively supporting an associating with it. As we all understand that the press is a forth pillar of democracy, it is imperative to introduce this new publication to esteemed readers with a view to strengthen this institution of democracy and constantly endeavour for nation building activities. We would like to project this magazine as a sort of social and political ambassador and want to encompass myriad shades of opinion and views on its wide ranging canvas. Let this newbie be at the fulcrum of all that is happening around us and affecting us and let us work together for the overall well being of the humanity and world peace and make this world a better place to live. We feel privileged in requesting you to give your kind support us in this initiative. Your indulgence will go a long way in furthering this social and political cause through this venture. It is hoped that this magazine is going to be a defining moment in the world of media and publication. Thanks,
Editor
