Yesterday, the Energy for Health initiative was officially inaugurated at UPHC Itafort, Itanagar, by the Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Biyuram Wahge.

Executing this deployment alongside the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and the SELCO Foundation has been an immensely meaningful undertaking for our team.

Throughout this journey, we worked in remote facilities like the health centre in Senge, where families across multiple villages rely on a single clinic for care. In places like this, erratic power puts critical equipment, particularly Ice-Lined Refrigerators (ILRs) preserving essential vaccines, at constant risk. With decentralised solar power in place, these frontline centres can now deliver reliable, 24/7 healthcare without fear of outages.

Since starting out in 2019, our journey at Aboriginal Energy has never been defined simply by the number of kilowatts we have installed. What began with village electrification surveys, routine technical repairs, and small community consultations has steadily grown into a regional mission. Over the past several years, we have brought dependable power to schools, medical clinics, and remote border villages where the main grid could not reach.
