Attended the first Coordinators' Meeting of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) regarding the celebration of the 2nd Aama Samman Diwas, commemorating the 9th Jan Unmukti Diwas under the theme, “Aama Ko Samman, Jan Unmukti Ko Abhiman.”

The meeting was held at Namchi Town Hall and witnessed fruitful and meaningful discussions on the successful planning and smooth ex*****on of the grand event scheduled to be held at Baichung Stadium, Namchi, on 10th August 2026.

The deliberations focused on ensuring effective coordination, active public participation, and making the occasion a memorable tribute to the invaluable contributions of our mothers while celebrating the spirit of Jan Unmukti Diwas.

I would like to extend my heartfelt and warmest birthday greetings to Hon'ble MLA Ms. Pamin Lepcha Madam on this joyous occasion.

Your commitment to public service, visionary leadership, and tireless dedication towards the welfare and development of the people continue to inspire many.

First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and staff of the various schools under the 28-Upper Burtuk Constituency for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring programme to felicitate the Class X toppers of our constituency, while also recognizing the invaluable contributions of our dedicated School Heads and Teachers.

I wholeheartedly congratulate Mr. Raunak Sharma of Tashi Namgyal Senior Secondary School (TNSSS) for securing the first position, Ms. Smriti Tamang of Sichey Senior Secondary School for securing the second position, and Ms. Simriti Tamang of Burtuk Secondary School for securing the third position in the constituency.

Their remarkable achievements are a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of their teachers and families. I am especially delighted to note that these students were among the participants of the Hon'ble Chief Minister's Mentorship Programme – Winter Coaching Initiative, which continues to empower and nurture young minds across the State.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to all the teachers and mentors who willingly sacrificed their winter vacations and personal comfort to educate, nurture, and prepare these students for their board examinations. Their dedication, commitment, and selfless service are truly reflected in the outstanding achievements of their students.

I feel privileged and honored to have such mindful, dedicated, and respected educators in my constituency. Their tireless efforts continue to shape the future of our society and inspire generations to come.

May the success of these young achievers inspire countless other students to pursue excellence with dedication and determination. I wish them all the very best in their future endeavors and remain confident that they will continue to make the 28-Upper Burtuk Constituency and the State of Sikkim proud.

It was a matter of great pride and honour to witness Perbing Junior High School celebrate the 212th Bhanu Jayanti during the Golden Jubilee year of the institution.

The occasion paid a heartfelt tribute to Adikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya and his unparalleled contribution towards preserving and promoting the Nepali language, literature, and the rich cultural heritage of our community. Such celebrations are not merely moments of joy; they serve as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility to preserve our language, culture, traditions, and history for future generations, enabling them to write new chapters while remaining rooted in their heritage.

As the Chief Patron of the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee of Perbing Junior High School, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our respected Shri C.P.
