SS Rajamouli
Indian film director. I never really grew up with dreams of being a director. What happened was a lucky accident. Raghavendra Rao garu. I moved on to T.V.
I started off by directing commercials under the supervision of legendary director K. serials and directed ‘Shanti Nivasam’, which became popular on E Tv. My first break as a movie director came with the film ‘Student No 1′ , which had NTR in the lead role. That movie turned out to be a commercial success. My next film, ‘Simhadri’, took a while to materialise. I once again worked with NTR and the
You’ll forget they’re Fahadh and Ssara… You’ll only remember Suri and Divya.
They’ll make you smile, laugh, and leave you with a full heart.🤗
Here’s a small glimpse into their lives… In cinemas from September 11..:)

Visited the Lumière Museum and the screening room where Eega and RRR was screened to a full house in Lyon, France.
Thierry Frémaux, the director of the Institut Lumière and the Cannes Film Festival, was gracious enough to introduce me. Then he said he had planned a surprise and walked me through the very street where cinema was born. I was already emotional for everything that was happening around me.
And there is this wall full of plaques. Names of legends like Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola… and then I noticed a plate covered with a red cloth. My mind went blank.
I don’t even know what to say for the honour of having my name permanently placed on the Mur des Cinéastes, along with the greats.
Only gratitude. Deeply, deeply humbled. 🙏
Thank you Institut Lumière & festival Lumière for a memory I will carry for a lifetime.

Having me here in Paris and screening my films is itself an honour for me. But a sweet surprise I never saw coming. It is a feeling I cannot fully put into words. To have a permanent place in the halls of one of the world’s most legendary film institutions, named after the great Henri Langlois himself, is something I will carry with me forever.
My deepest gratitude to the legendary Mr. Costa Gavras and the entire Cinémathèque Française family for this honour, and for embracing Indian cinema with such warmth and love. 🙏
I have always believed animation offers a canvas with no boundaries. It is a rare honor for Indian mainstream cinema that Baahubali: The Eternal War has been selected for the Work in Progress lineup at Annecy 2026.
Shobu garu, Ishan shukla and the whole team is elated to showcase the vision on the world’s most prestigious animation stage. Looking forward!
I loved Dhurandhar-1, but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul.
The writing, casting, technical ex*****on, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.
The writing manages to weave plot twists that create genuine tension charged with emotion. Aditya Dhar, you hit it out of the park. It takes guts to make and release a film 4 hours long. The audience is glued to the seat till the last frame. 🫡
Ranveer Singh, what a performance man… The sequence with the sister in the shed is a masterclass in acting. From that beginning to the heart-wrenching climax, you mesmerized us both as Hamza and Jaskirat.
R Madhavan garu, you carried the helplessness and frustration of a nation so well that we felt your sucess as ours..
Congratulations to the entire team for the resounding success… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
