We are absolutely thrilled to officially introduce Dr. Rajiv Kangabam as a mentor for the .

Dr. Rajiv Kangabam is currently working as Lead, ManipurTech Innovation Foundation. His contributions are significant in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the eastern and northeastern regions of India.
Before taking over the lead role at MTIF, he worked as the manager of BIRAC Regional Techno entrepreneurship promotion centre (BRTC), where he spearheaded 56 programs across the eastern and northeastern regions, including awareness, training, design workshops, Rural Women training programs, and grant support to entrepreneurs.
He received his Ph.D. from Bharathidasan University and has 10 years of research experience in wetland studies, with significant contributions to Loktak Lake. His research interests include water quality monitoring, pesticide studies, and environmental education.
Dr. Kangabam has completed four major external projects, published 20 research articles, and delivered 50+ talks on scientific and entrepreneurship development programs.
His work serves as a testament to the transformative power of innovation and entrepreneurship in driving socio-economic development, particularly in underrepresented regions like the North-East.

On this day in 2018, the Supreme Court decriminalised consensual same-sex relationships by reading down Section 377.

On 6th Sept 2026, we had a session on SDG 6- Clean Water and Sanitation with Donald Takhell as our resource person. 🌊💧

The discussion touched on important local issues- from challenges we face at home, awareness of our water sources, and how water is linked to gender and q***r experiences, to the impact of monoculture, excessive pesticides, microplastic pollution, and waste treatment in Manipur.

The session reminded us to be mindful of our daily water use, to hold ourselves accountable, and to explore ways to minimize our impact for a healthier, sustainable future.

Donald is a Research Associate at Indigenous Perspectives, an organization that provides space for action-research on local responses to globalization processes. His work currently focuses on the intersection of environment, development, climate change and indigenous people. His works have been published in Springer, Dialogue Earth, Mongabay, DowntoEarth, Boom Live and Imphal Review of Arts and Politics.

Sexual health is a right. Every body matters.

The theme for World Sexual Health Day 2026 is "Every Body" (with the full tagline: "Our bodies: where sexuality, health, rights and justice are lived").

On 23 August 2026, as part of the Fellowship Cohort II, fellows, along with the Ya_All team and Chingkheinganba Leishangthem, the resource person, conducted a field visit focused on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7), examining how access to reliable, clean energy enhances community well-being and livelihoods. The field visit began in Thongjao, roughly 55–60 km from Imphal, where local artisans highlighted how machinery reduces manual labor, and the resource person detailed the potential of solar energy in traditional pottery making. The team then evaluated a livelihood demonstration site in Yairipok featuring solar-powered poultry farming and egg incubation, which is currently undergoing technical optimization to overcome underproduction challenges. Moving to SNL Energy Pvt. Ltd. at Bhamon Leikai, founder Moirangthem Seth shared the company’s vision and practical applications of solar power for community empowerment. The visit concluded at a local powerloom factory, underscoring the need for tailored technology, capacity-building, and financial support for economically disadvantaged groups. Overall, the visits demonstrated how clean energy, appropriate technology, training, and financial support can work together to improve productivity, strengthen livelihoods, and promote community self-empowerment while preserving practices.

We are absolutely thrilled to officially introduce Chingkheinganba Leishangthem as a mentor for the .

Chingkhei works at the intersection of clean energy, sustainable livelihoods, and community development, with a focus on translating innovative ideas into practical, locally relevant solutions for communities across Manipur.

Through work in Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE), livelihood development, and value-chain strengthening, he has contributed to enabling local enterprises, improving productive energy access, and building scalable models for inclusive economic development-bringing together technology, entrepreneurship, community institutions, and ecosystem partnerships to create sustainable impact across the state.

On 8th August 2016, a workshop on “Career Readiness” by Tinky Ningomb Tinky Ningombam was held at Ya_All space , Kwakeithel Akham Leikai to discuss the basics of polishing individuals in being career ready and procure professional skills to build a foundational setting in the occupation sector. It highlighted that skill and passion should travel in a parallel manner so one could obtain an individual niche during the endeavour towards careership.

The workshop further hinted on social techniques like people pitching, Creating Fire numbers, experts shadowing , volunteering in related field works and self auditing personal performance. The best bit beats the best-ranked , a job that looks good on paper can’t still be the best choice and therefore every individual should understand the informed choices and be involved in informed decision making.
