From My Garden - The Bloom Edit '26

Mangalgiri Silk Pattu by Cotton. Hand-painted. Exclusively handcrafted.🌸🏵

Collection live now.

Mrida, derived from the Sanskrit "मृदा / मृड"—embodies the grace of Lord Shiva, the elegance of nature, and the nurturing spirit of the Earth. Rooted in the heart of India, we celebrate our rich cultural heritage through premium handloom sarees, crafted with care and tradition. At Mrida, we aim to revive and reimagine the fading art of handloom weaving. Every saree is a story of skilled artisans, timeless techniques, and a deep respect for our roots. By blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design, we create pieces that carry meaning, beauty, and soul. More than just attire, Mrida is a movement to support artisans, preserve heritage, and offer today’s generation a way to wear their roots with pride.

Four days at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav gave us something we didn't expect: a front-row seat to India's business landscape.

Brands from every sector imaginable. Startups with fresh ideas. Heritage businesses with stories. Government officials actively supporting entrepreneurs. Real conversations. Actual business networking. That's what was happening.

And there we were, sharing our story. The handloom story. The artisanal pride of our nation. Reminding everyone that some things - craft, heritage, quality shouldn't be rushed.

What stayed with us? Seeing an ecosystem that actually values building thoughtfully. Where tradition and innovation aren't enemies. Where entrepreneurs are supported, not just critiqued.

Grateful to the organisers for this platform. To every entrepreneur we spoke with. To everyone who stopped by, connected with our collections, and understood why we do what we do.

Thank you. 🤍

Some blooms bring colour to the places they find. We chose to preserve it.

Bougainvillea Wall is hand-painted on Mangalgiri Silk by Cotton, where delicate bougainvillea clusters unfold across a deep indigo drape inspired by flowers spilling over old garden walls after the rain.

Every brushstroke captures the colour, movement, and effortless beauty of a bloom that grows freely.

Light on the body. Rich in craft.

From My Garden – The Bloom Edit.

P.S - This one is sold out.

It was an honour to welcome Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal to the Mrida stall at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026.

Having the opportunity to share our collections and speak about the crafts, weaves and stories that shape Mrida made the experience even more special. She particularly appreciated our cotton collection and the ease and beauty of the handwoven pieces.

Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav brought together brands, entrepreneurs and audiences who share an appreciation for Indian craftsmanship and homegrown enterprise.

We’re grateful to everyone who visited our stall, took the time to explore our collections and made these four days so memorable.

Thank you for being part of our journey. ✨

Being at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 with 24 other women-owned brands was overwhelming in the best way. Meeting people who share the same love for handicraft, who champion artisans, who refuse to let heritage fade. That energy was surreal.

The Naari Vandan Initiative was more than just an exhibition, it was a celebration for entrepreneurs who enjoy their craft as much as they enjoy being a woman. Naari Vandan left a reverberation of realisation that handmade matters, Indian culture matters, and the hands behind every piece? They matter most.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, who listened to our story, who joined our journey in understanding why we do what we do.✨
