Global Learning Space Network is building India's foremost Community of School Founders, Architects, Interior Designers and everyone from the Domain of Learning Spaces Development.

18/09/2026

When the right communities come together, the conversation doesn’t just grow- it comes alive.

And PULSE 2026 is bringing a vibrant community into the room.

We’re excited to welcome TAISI – The Association of International Schools of India as a Community Partner for PULSE 2026.

For over 20 years, TAISI has connected 300+ schools and 10,000+ participants, bringing educators, leaders and edupreneurs together around global perspectives and meaningful exchange.

That same spirit powers PULSE—GLSN’s platform for bringing the people who shape learning environments into one shared conversation. Because learning spaces are not shaped by design alone; they are shaped by people, culture and community.

A shared purpose makes this partnership especially meaningful: bringing more voices to the conversation about where and how learning happens.

Meet Medha Jalan at PULSE 2026 — where a space can say more to a child than we realise.

With a Master’s in Designing for Kids and Toys, she believes design can be a powerful tool in shaping meaningful childhood environments - spaces that invite curiosity, independence and imagination.

At PULSE 2026 | Where Culture Meets Learning, Medha brings that way of seeing into a larger conversation about the spaces where children learn, grow and experience the world.

MEET SYAZA SURAINI | MALAYSIA → INDORE | PULSE 2026

What if a better learning space could begin with simply looking at the one you already have- with fresh eyes, new ideas and the people who know it best?

Bringing a community-led lens to the PULSE 2026 conversation, meet Nur Syazadiyanah binti Suraini (Syaza) of Malaysian Learning Spaces (MYLES).

With a PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Syaza explores co-design, participatory approaches and equitable learning environments.

Her work with Ruang2Gather received the Don Norman Design Award 2025 in the Promising Early Career Projects category, recognising its community-centred approach to transforming learning spaces.

At PULSE, she brings a fresh perspective on what schools can unlock within existing spaces, limited resources and community voices.

How much transformation can begin with what we already have?

What if a well-designed school still isn’t a well-designed learning environment?

Meet Mr. Alastair Blyth- architect, researcher and educator with three decades of experience exploring how the spaces where we learn are designed, evaluated and used.

From the OECD’s Centre for Effective Learning Environments in Paris to national reviews of school-building programmes in Portugal and Mexico, his work brings architecture, education, research and policy into one important conversation.

At PULSE 2026 | Where Culture Meets Learning, Alastair invites us to look beyond how a school looks and ask a deeper question: what is the environment actually enabling?

For architects, educators, school leaders and anyone shaping the future of learning spaces, this is a perspective worth hearing.

Meet Pravir Sethi at PULSE 2026, Indore — bringing a thoughtful perspective on what makes a space more than just well designed.

A space can be functional and beautiful. But what gives it character, identity and a sense of belonging?

Founder of studio HINGE, Pravir’s work spans architecture, interiors and furniture, with projects including the Forest of Knowledge Library at CCI Mumbai, 219 Boat Club Road in Pune, and the CCI Yoga Studio.

His work offers an interesting lens for learning spaces: when every element is considered as part of a larger experience, can the environment itself become part of how people learn, connect and belong?

MEET AR. BIMAL DESAI | PULSE 2026

We talk about designing better schools. But what if their impact goes much deeper?

We’re delighted to welcome Ar. Bimal Desai, Founder & Principal, DSP Design Associates, and Co-Founder & CEO, GrydSense, to PULSE 2026 - Where Culture Meets Learning.

With over 30 years of experience, Bimal works at the intersection of architecture, human performance, wellbeing and technology, with projects including Microsoft R&D, Hyderabad; Google’s Ananta campus, Bengaluru; Oracle Financial Services, Bengaluru; and Capgemini, Mumbai.

At PULSE, he brings this thinking into the world of learning spaces - and asks a bigger question:

What does a classroom teach us, even when nobody is teaching?

His session will mark the release of the EDI–DSP white paper, The Architecture of Identity: How Learning Environments Shape the Adults We Become.

A compelling new lens on how spaces can shape more than learning.

A very warm welcome, Ar. Bimal Desai. We’re delighted to have you join the PULSE 2026 conversation in Indore.

A classroom can shape behaviour. A school can shape belonging. But can it shape identity?

Meet Dr. Parul Minhas, Director of Research at Education Design International (EDI), returning to PULSE 2026 after PULSE 2024.

Her work brings together neuroarchitecture, salutogenic design and human development, exploring how learning environments influence wellbeing, agency and the people we become.

This year, her session brings a special reveal: the release of the EDI–DSP white paper, The Architecture of Identity: How Learning Environments Shape the Adults We Become.

What does a learning environment leave behind in us? Dr. Parul will take us inside the research- and invite us to look at school design, identity and human development through a different lens.

For architects, educators and school leaders, this is a conversation worth being in.

Welcome back, Dr. Parul. We’re delighted to have you with us again.
