We are the pioneers for the introduction of branded steel to the people of Gwalior city. We were based in the outskirts of Gwalior city and still gained popularity because of the type and quality of steel we provided. We became the Market leader in the city as we gained the trust and loyalty from our customers. We came to the Indore city back in 2006 and continued with our services. 📈 **TMT prices have moved sharply over the last few days.**
In our market, we have seen TMT rates increase by approximately **₹4,000 per tonne in just four days.**
For a customer buying 10 tonnes, that's a difference of roughly **₹40,000**.
But the bigger question isn't just:
**"How much has the rate increased?"**
The real question is:
**"Why is the market moving?"**
Steel prices are influenced by several factors — billet and sponge prices, raw material costs, mill sentiment, supply availability, demand and broader market conditions.
That is why we believe customers should not make purchasing decisions based only on the cheapest quotation of the day.

Trust should be backed by verification.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit **IIT Indore** to submit TMT bar samples for testing and to better understand the scientific processes used to evaluate construction materials.
During the visit, I was fortunate to interact with respected faculty members from the Civil Engineering department. Our discussions on material quality, testing methodologies and the importance of technical standards were both insightful and inspiring.
At Veekay Traders, we believe that supplying building materials is more than just delivering products.
It means continuously learning, seeking technical knowledge and encouraging objective verification wherever possible.
When customers trust us with their homes, factories and commercial projects, we believe that commitment should be supported by knowledge, transparency and a willingness to improve every day.

It was a privilege to address the members and visitors at **BNI Evolve** and share my thoughts on the building materials industry—an industry where trust, transparency and knowledge make all the difference.
