Daytime Power for Farmers: Solar91 Cleantech Ltd Commissioned 3.543 MW PM KUSUM-C Solar Plant in Halli Mysore

Halli Mysore, Hassan : Marking a significant stride toward clean energy and sustainable rural development, a 3.543 MW solar power plant under PM KUSUM flagship scheme developed by Solar91 Cleantech Ltd was formally inaugurated in Halli Mysore, Hassan district , by Arakalagudu MLA Sri A. Manju, Solar91 Cleantech Ltd CEO Sri Sandeep Gurnani, CESC EE Sri Arjun, KPTCL EE Sri Gokul, and former Panchayat Chairman Sri Shambhashivappa, along with farmers and local residents.

Solar91 has been entrusted with numerous PM KUSUM-C projects across Karnataka in all ESCOM'S and is committed to fulfill the goals of rapidly expanding distributed renewable generation and meet the energy aspirations of the region in record time . This milestone project highlights the company's strong commitment to fulfilling the vision of both the Government of India and the State Government of Karnataka by ensuring reliable, daytime power for the farmers.

Addressing the gathering, Sri Rajesh Hebbar presented a detailed introduction to the project's background and objectives, how this project impact the lives of local farmers empower their life with assured power for daylight farming hours help boost the economy .

Following the official ribbon-cutting and technical unveiling, the event concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of fruits and sweets among all attendees and villagers.

At the RE+BESS Leadership Summit 2026 organized by the Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA), key discussions focused on the expansion of Battery Energy Storage Systems and the future of Rajasthan’s renewable energy ecosystem.

With a pilot BESS project already initiated at a 33 kV GSS, Rajasthan is taking steps towards its vision of deploying BESS across GSSs and achieving its ambitious 10 GW BESS target, as highlighted by Hon’ble Energy Minister Shri Heeralal Nagar.
