*Fire Breaks Out At Tata Showroom In Hyderpora Overnight, Storeroom, Bus Damaged*

Srinagar, Sep 28 : A fire broke out at a Tata showroom in Hyderpora area of Srinagar late last night, damaging a storeroom and a Tata bus.

Officials told that following an emergency call, a fire tender from Rawalpora Fire Station was dispatched to the spot and firefighting operations were immediately launched. The blaze was subsequently brought under control.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown and is being investigated by the concerned authorities.

No loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident, officials said.

Nuzhat Gul Transferred as J&K Sports Council Secretary; Tazayun Mukhtar Appointed New Secretary

Srinagar 1 Sep : The Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred Nuzhat Gul, the long-serving Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, from her post.

In an official order issued by the government, Ms. Tazayun Mukhtar (JKAS) has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.

The transfer marks a significant administrative change in the functioning of the Sports Council, with the appointment of a new officer expected to bring fresh leadership and renewed focus to sports administration and development across Jammu and Kashmir.

The development comes after Nuzhat Gul had served as Secretary of the Sports Council for a prolonged period.
