No other festival glorifies the power of feminity more than Durga Puja or Navratri.
On the pious occasion Durga Puja and after an extremely successful first year, we the Rotaract Club of Calcutta Avyanna bring to *Nav Yagran Chapter 2* which will not only celebrate womenhood in their 9 forms but also uplift their wholistic well being, so are you ready to join us on this thrilling journey?

Last year, Nav Yagran chapter one celebrated the serendipity of feminism through this initiative. We were supported by more than 50 other Rotaract clubs in the form if collaboration, corporates didn't mine out too and we sealed the deal with a very successful fundraiser of 1.5 lakhs.
Durga Puja for Bengalis is a time more personal than any other, and we were more than happy to have celebrated this with these women from different spheres of life. We tried and enlightened their homes as well as lives with our initiative.
This year we intend to build on this Foundation and that will hardly be possible without your help!

Our events
Rota Dakshayani : Distribution of school kits, black board and laptop tables to female students of a rural school
Gurupaduka : Felicitation of female teachers from a rural school and token of appreciation
Abhivandanam : Felicitation of female doctors, nurses and police officers for their selfless service. Installing sanitary dispensers in these Institutes
Rota Eshgham : Visiting and old age home, spending the day with them and providing with daily Essential kits as well as special need supplements
Matripreeti: providing prenatal care products and immunity booster multivitamins to the pregnant women from the rural areas. Gifting sarees.
Yavdheya : providing a nutritional kit consisting of everyday munchies and energy boosters to the working women. Gifting sarees
Rota Darshani : spending a day with differently abled children, gifting them goody bags to take home
Special handouts for the teachers of the institution
Rota Ruhani : providing menstrual hygiene kits to the ladies living in the red light areas. Supporting their football team with football kits.
Rota Anupama : celebrating an entire day with the transgender community women, gifting them sarees and a make over for Pujo.
