"Azure Communication is an award-winning branding and advertising agency in Kolkata. MEMORABILITY. That’s the only way to stand out of this clutter.

We specialise in brand strategy, creative design, brochures, catalogues, calendars, print and OOH campaigns, websites and real estate communication. Azure: /aZHər/ Adjective – ‘Bright blue in colour, like a cloudless sky.’ Noun – ‘A bright blue colour.’ True but. To the kind of passion and dedication we believe in, sky can only be the starting point of our creative road! Because, in this claustrophobic world of chaos, traffic and confusion, just good work does not work. And that’s why our friends or associates eagerly wait for the seasonal greetings cards we send them every year. Not just because they are unique, but because (according to them) they have almost become collectible items, which they prefer to preserve in their showcases! We believe that when discipline and passion get properly distributed in a team, then that team is bound to produce marvels. And so have we. Yes, clients come to us for quality, dedicated service and of course communication solutions that will help their brands to gain visibility in the market. With our unique 360 degree communication solutions including all types of ATL & BTL actrivities, ours is a people-centred power-packed advertising agency that offers feasible solutions for your brand to sell. After all, all’s well that sells well.

To all those who thought simplicity had no power.

He proved that strength does not always need noise.
Sometimes, the simplest thought can move an entire nation.

Happy Gandhi Jayanti.

Some businesses look at branding and communication as money going out.

Others look at it as something they are building.

A stronger identity.
Better recall.
More trust.
Greater preference.
And eventually, a brand people are willing to choose and even pay more for.

The funny thing is, both may be spending the same money.

One is trying to reduce the expense.

The other is trying to increase the value.

Guess who wins in the long run?

We often think the deepest divisions between people come from religion, nationality or community.

But there is another divide that quietly shapes how people see each other, how they live and even how they are treated.

The gap between having more than enough and not having enough.

Money does more than decide what we can buy. It influences access, opportunity, confidence, education, healthcare and sometimes even dignity.

Perhaps the biggest walls in society are not always the ones we openly talk about.

They are the ones built by inequality.

Arey… bolna kya chahte ho??

Sometimes, after sitting through a 30-minute presentation, the only question you want to ask is this. 😄

The problem with communication is that we often confuse saying more with communicating better.

More words. More explanations. More adjectives. More reasons to believe.

And by the time we reach the actual point, the audience has already lost interest.

Advertising is particularly vulnerable to this.

We try to say everything about a product. Every feature. Every benefit. Every little thing that makes it special.

And in trying to say everything, we sometimes end up communicating nothing.

The art of communication is not in saying everything you know. It is in knowing what needs to be said.

Because when the message is clear, you don’t need to work so hard to explain it.

Happy Advertising!

Funny thing about feeling successful.
It can change several times in the same day.

You meet someone who seems to be doing less than you and suddenly you feel you are doing rather well.

Then you meet someone who has built more, earned more or achieved more and just as quickly, you begin to feel a little smaller.

Nothing may have changed in your business.
Nothing may have changed in your life.

Only the person you are comparing yourself with has changed.

Perhaps that is why feeling big is such an emotional seesaw.

One moment life puts us on the higher side.
The next moment, on the lower one.

Maybe the trick is not to stop the seesaw.

Just to remember that our worth was never sitting on it.

Cheap tricks don’t work.

And neither do shortcuts.

Agencies take them when they settle for the obvious, recycle ideas or dress up average work as strategy.

Clients take them when they rush the process, squeeze the thinking too hard or let price become the only measure of value.

Of course budgets matter.

But so do the idea, the thinking and the people behind it.

Because there is a difference between being sensible with money and being stingy with thought.

And that difference usually shows in the work.

Samajhdaar ko ishaara kaafi hai.

Most of us know what we want.

More money.
A bigger house.
A better car.
Recognition.
Success.

Or at least we think we know.

Because if we look a little deeper, perhaps we do not really want the money. We want the freedom we imagine it will bring. We do not really want the house. We want the feeling of arriving somewhere and being completely at ease. We do not really want success. We want to feel fulfilled.

The trouble is, we often spend years chasing the thing and only after getting it realise that the feeling we were looking for did not come with it.

So perhaps the more important question in life is not:

What do I want?

But:

How do I want to be?

At peace?
Content?
Free?
Close to nature?
Surrounded by people we love?
Able to live without constantly worrying about the next thing?

Once we know that, perhaps we begin to understand what is actually worth looking for.

Because the hardest part of finding what we want is sometimes simply knowing what we are truly searching for.

Hum kya dhoond rahe hain?
Humko wahi dhoondna hai.

Whenever someone asks me, “How many people do you have in your agency?”, I somehow go back to school.

Group projects. Annual functions. Creative assignments.

And one line teachers seemed to use rather generously:

Too many cooks spoil the broth.

At that age, it sounded like just another proverb.

Much later, I realised there was a pretty good lesson hidden in it.

Creative work is not really a headcount exercise.

More people can mean more hands, more capacity and more support. But it does not automatically mean a better idea.

A good idea needs clarity. It needs ownership. It needs people who understand the problem, think through it deeply and know how to carry the thought all the way through.

Which is why, for me, the size of an agency has never been the most interesting question.

The work is.

Because headcount can tell you how many people are there.

It cannot tell you how well they think.

Sometimes, the easiest way to know yourself is to listen to yourself.

What you talk about, who you talk about and how you talk about them says more about you than you realise.

Watch your conversations.
You may just find yourself there.

Some teachers taught us lessons.
Some became memories.
And some became stories we still smile about years later.

Happy Teacher’s Day to the ones we never really forget.
