DNA - The Musical Project

DNA is a Kolkata-based musical duo featuring singer-songwriter Dipayan Roy and pianist-composer Arjun Ghoshal. The name “DNA” stands for Dipayan and Arjun, symbolizing their deeply intertwined musical chemistry and unique sound. Dipayan Roy, known for his expressive vocals and as a Top 10 finalist on Zee Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2016–17), brings a soulful blend of Hindustani classical and contemporary styles. Arjun Ghoshal, a certified pianist with over 15 years of experience, complements this with his expertise in classical piano, ambient, and cinematic music. Together, DNA creates original songs that fuse emotive storytelling with intricate arrangements, blending acoustic, fusion, and modern production. Signature tracks like “Adhoora Mai” and “Bhule Bhora Chithi” highlight their ability to deliver heartfelt melodies with fresh, contemporary appeal. As one of the emerging live music duos in Kolkata, DNA regularly performs at weddings, corporate events, college fests, and private shows. Known for their engaging live band performances, they offer audiences an experience that bridges traditional Indian roots with global influences. You can listen to DNA’s music on platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Amazon Music.
