The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, successfully hosted RISEON 2.0, an engaging platform promoting innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and technology-driven problem-solving among young innovators.
The event brought together enthusiastic participants who showcased creative ideas and solutions to real-world challenges.
The event was graced by Mr. Rohit Heera, Digital Forensics Examiner, Cyber Crime, Punjab Police, as the Chief Guest, whose valuable insights encouraged participants to explore emerging technologies and impactful solutions.
The ideas were evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising Mr. Tarun Malhotra (CEO, Cyber Splunk), Dr. Sapna Thakur (CEO, ACIC, Eternal University Foundation), Er. Rupinder Singh (MD, RRIZA Engineering Solutions), Mr. Gurwant Singh (Director, B.G. Innovatech Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Prakash Sharma (Penta Virtual).

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, is delighted to share that ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with H.S. Sidhu Farming Solutions, represented by its Founder, Mr. Heera Singh Sidhu, marking a significant step towards strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in the agri-tech and precision agriculture ecosystem.

H.S. Sidhu Farming Solutions is engaged in precision agriculture and emerging technologies aimed at modernizing farming practices. Through this collaboration, the partnership aims to provide meaningful incubation support, facilitate knowledge exchange, mentorship, networking, technology-driven opportunities, and entrepreneurial growth, while enabling the startup to leverage relevant ecosystem resources and explore avenues for further development.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment towards fostering innovation-driven agriculture, technology adoption, and sustainable entrepreneurial development, while strengthening meaningful linkages between academia, startups, and the emerging agri-tech ecosystem.
This collaboration was strengthened through the constant guidance and support of Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean (R&D), CGC Landran, and Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar, CEO, ACIC RISE Association, whose visionary leadership continues to promote innovation, nurture entrepreneurship, and strengthen the incubation ecosystem.

The Department of RISE is pleased to share that Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar, CEO, ACIC RISE Association, along with Mr. Sheetal, Young Professional and Dr. Gurwinder Singh, Young Professional, actively participated in the National Workshop-cum-Seminar on MSME Development, organized by MSME–DFO, Ludhiana, on 03 September 2026 at Hotel Shivalikview, Sector 17E, Chandigarh. Adding to the significance of the event, Startups incubated at ACIC RISE Association also participated in the workshop, representing the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem nurtured by RISE. The workshop brought together government officials, industry experts, MSME entrepreneurs, Startups, and other stakeholders to facilitate meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange on key areas of MSME development, including innovation, product and process development, technological advancement, EXIM policy, public procurement, e-commerce adoption, design and packaging, market access, vendor registration with CPSUs, and GeM opportunities. The event provided valuable insights into government schemes, support services, business opportunities, and emerging avenues for strengthening the MSME ecosystem.

Capacity Building & Outreach Programme on 3D Printing and Drone Technology

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran successfully organized a Capacity Building & Outreach Programme on 3D Printing and Drone Technology on 1 September 2026 at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Machhlikalan.

The programme aimed to introduce students to emerging technologies and create awareness about their applications in education, industry, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The interactive session on 3D Printing was conducted by Er. Satwinder Singh, Vertical Head – Advanced Manufacturing, covering the fundamentals, working process, materials and practical applications of additive manufacturing.

Students were also introduced to Drone Technology by Er. Sonia Jindal, Vertical Head – Drone Technology, who explained the basic components, working principles, applications and career opportunities in the field.

A key highlight was the live drone flying demonstration, giving students practical exposure to drone operation, flight control and its potential applications across various fields.

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, is delighted to announce RISEON 2.0, an exciting innovation and entrepreneurship platform designed to encourage students, startups, and aspiring innovators to transform creative ideas into impactful solutions.

Scheduled for 9 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Block-3, Department of RISE, CGC Landran,the event will bring together young innovators to explore opportunities across key thrust areas including Drone Technology & 3D Printing, Cybersecurity & AI, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition, Agriculture, FinTech Solutions & E-Commerce, and Waste Management & Circular Economy.

RISEON 2.0 will provide participants with an engaging platform for idea generation, prototype development, startup pitching, expert interaction, and networking, enabling them to gain valuable exposure to the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The event welcomes UG and PG students from technical and non-technical streams, startups incubated at ACIC RISE, and registered startups, providing an inclusive platform to connect, collaborate, and compete.

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, is delighted to announce the launch of RISOVATE – Stuprepreneur Consortium, an initiative dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and impactful ideas among students and aspiring innovators.

The launch marks an important step towards creating a vibrant platform where young minds can connect, collaborate, innovate, and transform their ideas into meaningful solutions. The consortium aims to provide students with opportunities to explore entrepreneurship, startups, intellectual property, events, media, industry engagement, and other key dimensions of the innovation ecosystem.

As part of the Ceremonial Welcome & Onboarding of the Consortium Bearers, Mr. Rahul Chhabra President– Devantra Innovations Pvt. Ltd. – RISOVATE, will lead the consortium along with dedicated representatives across various functional domains.

The consortium brings together functional domains including Event, Startup, IPR, Media, Documentation, and Sponsorship, creating a structured platform for students to actively contribute, develop leadership skills, and gain practical exposure to entrepreneurship and innovation.

🚀 One-Month Industrial Research Project Evaluation | Cyber Security Lab

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, in collaboration with Devantra Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and the CIO Association, Punjab Chapter, is pleased to announce the One-Month Industrial Research Project Evaluation in the Cyber Security Lab.

After a month of industry-oriented project development, hands-on learning, research, and practical exploration, participants are now ready to showcase their cybersecurity projects before an industry expert.

This collaboration brings together two government-supported community innovation incubators funded by NITI Aayog, marking an important step towards promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge exchange and community-focused development.
