You know your child. But would you notice if something felt different?

There’s no checklist for recognising when a child may be struggling. Sometimes, it’s the small shifts - in how they behave, feel, connect or go about their everyday lives.

As caregivers, paying attention to these changes can be the first step towards helping them out.

What change in your child would make you pause and check in?

We talk about keeping children safe.
But are we talking about EVERY child?

Every child deserves to be included in conversations about boundaries, safety, support and protection. This is because inclusive child safety means making space for different experiences, identities, abilities and circumstances.

What would a truly inclusive approach to child safety look like to you? Tell us in the comments below👇

Sometimes, the most powerful learnings come from moments of reflection.

During a recent child safety awareness session with teachers, a simple but important realisation emerged: children may not always recognise when something feels unsafe, especially when they don’t yet have the words to understand or express it.

By reflecting on their personal experiences, teachers were able to see child safety from a child’s perspective, and understand why awareness, conversations, and safe spaces matter.

Every workshop begins long before we enter the classroom.

It starts with a conversation - with a principal, in an office, often over a simple cup of tea. It’s a conversation about why child safety matters, what our sessions look like, and how a school can play an active role in keeping its children safe.

What do you think every conversation about child safety should include?
