Volvo updates its 40 Series with new design, tech and safety features.

• The XC40, EX40 and EC40 get refreshed styling with new Thor’s Hammer Matrix LED headlights, grille, bumpers and wheel designs.
• Inside, there’s a larger 11.2-inch infotainment screen with Google Gemini AI integration.
• Safety tech gets a major upgrade with new radars, cameras and ultrasonic sensors.
• Features include Door Opening Alert, improved Pilot Assist with lane-change assist and a 3D 360° camera.
• The EX40 offers up to 575 km of range, while the EC40 offers up to 584 km on a single charge.
• The updated models will also receive new features through over-the-air updates.

Kia expands its powertrain lineup with new CNG and hybrid options in India.

• Kia Carens CNG pre-bookings are now open in the Premium (O) G1.5 6MT trim.
• Kia Carens Clavis CNG is available in HTE and HTE (O) G1.5 6MT trims.
• Both CNG models get a factory-fitted CNG kit with a 60-litre tank, CNG-specific engine calibration and modified suspension.
• Both also feature 16-inch wheels, 16-inch disc brakes and CNG-specific MID functionality.
• For commercial and B2B applications, the Carens CNG will be offered in the M-Drive trim, while the Carens Clavis CNG gets the HTM trim.
• Kia Carnival Limousine Hybrid will be offered in the Limousine+ G1.6T HEV 6AT trim.
• The Carnival Hybrid gets features including 18-inch Crystal Cut Dual Tone Aero Alloy Wheels, Active Air Flaps, VESS and a Smart Pure Air Purifier.
• Pre-bookings for all three models are now open through Kia India’s authorised dealer network.

Hyundai has introduced the Lounge Edition for the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar, bringing additional features and styling changes.

Key highlights:

• All three SUVs get an 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screen with OTT streaming, phone mirroring and gaming.

• White ambient lighting is now standard on the Lounge Edition.

• A new Golden Bronze exterior colour is offered, along with blacked-out alloy wheels, skid plates, ORVMs, roof spoiler and other elements.

• The cabin gets an all-black theme with silver accents, revised seat upholstery and Lounge-branded headrest cushions.

• The Alcazar Lounge Edition gets a new 5-seat layout, alongside its existing 6- and 7-seat configurations.
