“What is the difference between "async" and "await" in C #?”

I’ve seen people explain this with a lot of complicated definitions.

👉 "async" tells us that a method can perform asynchronous work.

👉 "await" tells the code to wait for that operation to complete without blocking the thread.

For example, when we call a database or an external API, we don’t want the application thread to sit there doing nothing while waiting for the response.
