42 million Indian homes are not choosing.
Chrome DM's SES survey maps 228 Mn TV homes across India. Within that universe, 42 Mn homes, 18% run pay TV and connected TV side by side.
Not switching. Not migrating. Both, at the same time.
That number is the one that changes planning.
A panel measuring only pay TV records these homes as pay TV homes. A panel measuring only streaming records them as streaming homes. Both are half right, and the duplication is invisible to either one.
At 18% of the universe, overlap is not an edge case. It is the market.
