Events at NASSCOM remain the key pillar of its edifice — among the largest value add that the apex body offers to its member companies and the IT-BPM industry as a whole. From the time NASSCOM became the visible face of the IT services sector in India, till date, when it covers a gamut of market segments under its umbrella, ‘Events’ have remained its staple fare. A major focus of NASSCOM events is to get thought leadership into the industry through lateral wisdom. From a more ‘vendor-to-vendor’ orientation, events are now increasingly ‘thought leadership intensive,’ targeting a broader, non-IT landscape, more generic industry segments and verticals.
