Goa University's Marathi Discipline, Shenoi Goembab School of Languages and Literature, hosted a special program integrating Balakrishna Bhagwant "Bakibab" Borkar’s death anniversary, the post-centenary golden jubilee of 'Vande Mataram' and the official launch of the 'Panchdhara' special issue.

The event highlighted the invaluable role of literary figures in the Goa Liberation struggle. Keynote speaker Dr Vinay Madgaonkar, alongside Dean Prof. Anuradha Wagle and Guest Editor Dr Chinmay Ghaisas, emphasised the rich history of Goan revolutionary memoirs, such as those by P. P. Shirodkar and Mohan Ranade and honoured contributing research scholars.

Goa University's D.D. Kosambi School of Social Sciences and Behavioural Studies invites applications for its transformative M.A. in Women's Studies program.

Goa University, in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH, DHS, Government of Goa, recently organised an Ayurveda Health Camp under the "Health with Ayurveda Campaign: 2.0 Across Goa."

Goa University proudly hosted a Cultural Program on its 42nd Foundation Day celebrations.

In the distinguished presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Professor (HAG) Harilal B. Menon and Prof. Sunder N. Dhuri, Registrar, our staff and students were honoured for their participationin in various competitions. The presentation of awards was beautifully complemented by ceremonial cultural performances by Faculty members, Officers and Non-Teaching Staff.

Goa University recently celebrated its landmark 42nd Foundation Day at the Auditorium, School of Chemical Sciences.

The event was graced by Chief Guest, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairperson of the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Chancellor of the Homi Bhabha National Institute and Former Chairperson of the Atomic Energy Commission of India. He addressed the gathering with an insightful Foundation Day Lecture on "Higher Education and National Development". The landmark session was held in the august presence of Professor (HAG) Harilal B. Menon, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor and Prof. Sunder N. Dhuri, Registrar of Goa University.

The event was well attended by Executive and Academic Council Members, Court Members, Principals of affiliated colleges, Deans, Faculty members, Officers, non-teaching staff and students, all coming together to celebrate the university's rich legacy and vision for the future.
