Awareness Session for Students
An awareness session was conducted for the Std. X students of Auxilium High School, Benaulim on 07 August 2026.
The session addressed important topics relevant to adolescents, including healthy relationships, the POCSO Act, underage riding and driving, substance abuse, cybercrime awareness and responsible digital behaviour. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students were encouraged to make safe and informed choices both offline and online.
Empowering students with knowledge and awareness is a vital step towards building safer schools, responsible citizens and stronger communities.

Awareness Session for Students!
An interactive awareness session was conducted for the students of Auxilium High Schoolon 07 August 2026.
The session focused on important issues affecting children and adolescents, including healthy relationships, the POCSO Act, the risks and legal consequences of underage riding/driving, and cybercrime awareness and online safety.
Through discussions and practical examples, students were encouraged to make informed choices, stay safe and seek help whenever needed.

Safety First Campaign
A Self-Defense Training Session for Students was conducted at People’s High School on 07 August 2026 under the banner of the Safety First Campaign.
The session focused on equipping students with practical self-defense techniques, confidence-building skills and awareness on personal safety and protection.
This initiative was organised in collaboration with Mayor
Rohit Monserrate, the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) and Equiknox, as part of our continued commitment to empowering children and creating safer school environments.

A Visit to the Victim Assistance Unit for the State of Goa
SCAN-Goa hosted the MSW 2026–2028 Batch of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Regional Campus, Payyanur at the Victim Assistance Unit, Bambolim, Goa on 07 August 2026.
The visit provided students with valuable exposure to victim assistance services, child protection mechanisms and the multidisciplinary support systems available for survivors.

Safety First Campaign!
An engaging awareness session was conducted for the students of Std. VIII at The Progress High School under the banner of the Safety First Campaign, organised by the Municipal Child Committee, Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP).
The session focused on creating awareness among young students about personal safety, responsible choices and the importance of speaking up and seeking help when needed.

Empowering educators to create safer spaces for every child!
A training session on the POCSO Act was conducted by Adv. Emidio Pinho, SCAN-Goa, for the teachers of ORA World School, Porvorim. The session included case simulation exercises, practical illustrations, and in-depth discussions on the provisions of the POCSO Act, various types of cases, and real-life scenarios to strengthen understanding and response mechanisms.
Building awareness, sensitivity, and preparedness among teachers is a vital step towards child protection and safety.

Team Scan-Goa conducted an informative awareness session on the POSH Act, 2013 for the FY students of Don Bosco College of Engineering on 04-08-2026.
Students were educated on their rights, responsibilities and the importance of preventing sexual harassment at an institution.

An Awareness Session for students was conducted at T. B. Cunha Higher Secondary School on July 24, 2026, in collaboration with Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) under the leadership of Hon'ble Mayor, Mr. Rohit Monserrate and Equiknox.
The session was led by Ms. Khushbu Lotliker, and she focused on key topics including sexual abuse awareness, cybercrime prevention, healthy relationships, and the Motor Vehicle Act. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students were encouraged to recognize unsafe situations, practise responsible digital behaviour, build respectful relationships, and understand the importance of road safety.
