Cleanliness begins with action.
Our cleaning drive continues across Fatorda, clearing neglected spaces, removing accumulated waste and restoring cleaner surroundings. The visible difference shows what consistent effort and community participation can achieve.
Keeping Fatorda clean is a shared responsibility. We will continue working to make our neighbourhoods cleaner, healthier and better for every Goemkar.

Day 2, and we keep the momentum going. Our cleaning drive is part of our continued initiative to keep Fatorda clean. It is about taking visible action, creating cleaner surroundings and building a culture of care across Fatorda.
Leadership means turning priorities into initiatives and initiatives into visible results on the ground. Our commitment remains clear, cleaner, greener and better Fatorda.

Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai met Prudent Editor Suyesh Naik Gaunekar and extended warm wishes to him and the entire Prudent Media team on completing 20 years.
For two decades, Prudent Media has kept Goemkars informed, brought issues from across Goa into public focus, and provided a platform for matters that concern our State. We wish the entire team continued success in serving Goa through responsible and impactful journalism.
Our party has stepped in to clean up the long-neglected SGPDA Retail Fish, Vegetable & Meat Market.
It is frustrating to see what has become of a market that was once renovated as a modern, “Dubai-style” fish market and later adopted by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation as a model.
From a benchmark of modern market infrastructure to a picture of neglect — this is what happens when public assets are built with fanfare but maintained without responsibility.
We have begun the cleanup because Fatorda deserves better than neglect. Goa deserves better than this.
Development is not just about building. It is about maintaining what we build.

Congratulations to our Goa Forward Students Wing backed panel at Damodar College, Krish Ballikar (General Secretary), Abhir Cacode (Cultural Secretary), Arif Nawar (Sports Secretary), and Daniella Pereira (Lady Representative) on a decisive victory!
Despite alleged pressure and attempts by the BJP-ABVP panel to keep Krish out, our Students Wing panel won the students’ mandate. This victory reflects the confidence of Goa’s young students in our Goem, Goemkar and Goemkarponn ideology and in the leadership of GFP President Vijai Sardesai.
The voice of our students has been heard. The spirit of Goemkarponn stands strong.

A special shoutout to Krish Ballikar on securing his second term, a proud milestone that reflects the trust and confidence of the student community.

Under the BJP government Dabolim’s future is at stake.
We have repeatedly pressed the BJP Government for clarity on the alleged move to shut down Dabolim Airport. The warning is clear, if the BJP returns to power, Dabolim could be pushed towards its expiry date.
For South Goa and for Goa, the message is simple, if Dabolim is to survive, BJP must be defeated.

On the death anniversary of Dr. Francisco Luís Gomes, we honour the “Prince of Intellectuals” whose writings, ideas and public life reflected Goa’s rich intellectual tradition and enduring spirit of freedom, equality and justice.
His legacy remains a part of Goa’s proud heritage.

ROAD SAFETY OR ANOTHER WAY TO DRAIN PUBLIC MONEY?
₹4.5 crore spent on a road safety audit. Its recommendations are still far from fully implemented. Officials estimate ₹300 crore is needed to carry them out. Now another ₹2.2 crore has been awarded for a pedestrian movement audit.
CM Pramod Sawant, how many more audits will Goa need before its roads become safer? Goans deserve action on the findings already paid for.
