Integrated development foundation

Project “Improving Nutrition Outcomes of Young Children with a Focus on Diet Quality, Quantity, and Diversity in Bihar & Jharkhand – JIWAN” was successfully launched on 28th August 2025 in Sheikhpura district under the aegis of Integrated Development Foundation. The Event was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Shri Arif Ahsan, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Sheikhpura in the august presence of key district Officials, representatives of development partners, functionaries from ICDS, Health, PRIs, KVK, media persons and beneficiaries from the field. Print and electronic media representatives were present in significant numbers, playing a key role in disseminating the objectives and strategies of the project to a wider audience. Smt. Kumari Poonam, District Programme Officer, ICDS, Ms. Shweta Kaur, Assistant Director, Social Security, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Sheikhpura, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Sheikhpura were the key officials who were present as special guests to the occasion. The project would be implemented in close coordination with the ICDS system in the district. The launch event served as a platform to reinforce the commitment of all stakeholders toward ensuring a healthier future for children through improved dietary practices and coordinated service delivery.

I am thrilled to share a proud moment of mine: the IDF has been honoured with the Winner Award for outstanding performance in rural development at the Social Leadership Conclave organised by the National CSR Committee of the BCC&I Bengal Chamber of Commerce, held at the Habitat Centre in Delhi on 6th December 2024.
