ADTOI Bihar Chapter proudly celebrated the 30th Foundation Day of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) at the iconic Sabhyata Dwar, Patna.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from our esteemed members, reflecting our shared commitment to strengthening domestic tourism and promoting the spirit of "Swadeshi Paryatan – Sashakt Bharat."

As we commemorate this remarkable milestone, we reaffirm our dedication to showcasing the rich heritage, culture, and tourism potential of Bihar while contributing to the growth of India's tourism sector.

It was an honour to represent ADTOI Bihar Chapter at the ADTOI Chapter Chairmen Meet 2026, held on 18th July 2026 at Hotel Ginger, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The meeting provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration among State Chapters, and discuss the future roadmap for promoting Domestic Tourism under the theme "स्वदेशी पर्यटन, सशक्त भारत."

As the Chapter Chairman – Bihar, I proudly presented Bihar's tourism potential, initiatives, and our vision to position Bihar as one of India's leading domestic tourism destinations.

I sincerely thank on behalf of our Bihar Chapter Members the ADTOI National President, Central Team, Office Bearers, and all Chapter Chairmen for their valuable insights, warm hospitality, and collective commitment towards strengthening India's tourism industry.

Together, we will continue to promote the incredible heritage, culture, spirituality, and tourism opportunities that Bihar has to offer.

🌟 ADTOI Bihar Chapter Celebrates 29th Foundation Day with Visually Impaired Children 🌟

On 07 August 2025, ADTOI Bihar Chapter marked the 29th Foundation Day of ADTOI in a way that truly touched hearts — by celebrating with the visually impaired students of Rajkiya Netrahin High School, Kadamkuan, Patna.

The event was filled with joy and togetherness. The celebrations began with a cake-cutting ceremony alongside the children, followed by an inspiring interaction where State Coordinator Ms. R. Priyanka spoke about ADTOI and the importance of tourism. Laughter and cheer filled the room as snacks and pastries were lovingly distributed among the students.

A special moment that moved everyone was when the children expressed their heartfelt wishes for ADTOI’s 29th Foundation Day — written beautifully in Braille script.

The programme was organised with the invaluable support of School Principal Mr. Amrendra Kumar and School Coordinator Mr. Sanjay, whose efforts ensured its success.
The celebration was graced by Chapter Chairman Mr. Prabhat Kumar, Secretary Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Treasurer Mr. Sachin Sharma, along with members Mr. Ssaurabh Kumar, Mr. Prakash Chandra, Mr. Rahul Singh, Mr. Dharmendra Kumar and other active members who together made the day memorable for the children.
This was not just a celebration — it was a reminder that tourism is about connecting hearts, spreading smiles, and creating inclusive experiences.

🌟 Inauguration of ADTOI Bihar Chapter 🌟

The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) officially inaugurated its Bihar Chapter on 28th June 2025 at Hotel Patliputra Continental, Anisabad, Patna.

The inauguration was graced by Mr. Nand Kishor (IFS), Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC), as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Ved Khanna, National President of ADTOI, and other senior officials.
Mr. Nand Kishor extended his best wishes to the newly formed chapter, stating that the establishment of ADTOI Bihar will significantly boost domestic tourism in the state. He highlighted that Bihar’s tourism sector is witnessing remarkable growth with the development of modern infrastructure, increasing both domestic and international tourist footfall.
He further mentioned the ongoing work on the Ramayana Circuit, extensive eco-circuit developments in Kaimur and Rohtas, and efforts to globally brand Chhath Puja. He encouraged the Bihar Chapter members to bring more tourists to the state, so visitors can discover Bihar’s beauty while generating local employment opportunities. Mr. Nand Kishor also noted that 4–5 day itineraries can be easily created in Bihar and announced the creation of a tourist helpline to provide essential information to travellers.

The event was attended by Mr. Ravishankar Upadhyay (PRO, Bihar Tourism), Mr. Sumitabh Dhruv (Gujarat Tourism), Mr. S K Singh (President, Tourism Association Of Bihar (TAB), Mr. Prakash Chandra (Secretary, Tourism Association of Bihar (TAB), ADTOI Bihar Chapter members, representatives from Tourism Association of Bihar (TAB), media personnel, and various tourism stakeholders.
The gathering concluded with all leaders and members taking a pledge to work collectively towards the growth and promotion of tourism in Bihar.

📢 Formation of ADTOI Bihar State Chapter – Meeting Update 📢

Dated on 07th May 2025 a meeting to establish the ADTOI Bihar State Chapter was held at the office of Indian Tourist Bureau, S. P. Verma Road, Patna.
In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to form the State Chapter with the following office bearers:

Odisha Travel Bazar held from 24–27 February 2025 in Bhubaneswar, only two members from Bihar were invited as special invitees:

This prestigious event proved to be an excellent platform to promote Bihar Tourism.
