📚 Most students learn that natural numbers start from 1…
But wait! 👀 Some mathematicians include 0 in the natural numbers.
🔢 Traditional convention:
N = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …}
🔢 Another common convention:
N = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, …}
🍎 Think of natural numbers as counting numbers—we count 1 apple, 2 apples, 3 apples…
But an empty basket represents 0 apples.
💡 Remember: In exams, always follow the definition used by your textbook, board, or syllabus.
