This organisation was founded by Chitra Deshpande in the year 2014, she has been working in the field of performing arts & music for past 25 years. It was her concept & idea to gather school going young and talented children and form a group and present musical programmes based on marathi songs. Slowly as the group grew people started coming together and "AAKAR" was formed as an organistaion. At "AAKAR" our basic motive is to develop a keen interest for singing, instrument playing, anchoring & literature in school going children. "AAKAR" has been climbing the steps of success ever since, and has now also reached & performed at international destinations. "AAKAR" will be continuing its journey ahead as this is just the start. and we plan to reach the heights and continue the good work of promoting our culture, literature and music through our activities and porgrammes with support from all of you.
