As part of the Hexaware Scholarship Program, a School Kit Distribution Program was successfully organized across 10 locations-Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Dehradun, Nagpur, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Mangalore, and Bangalore-in collaboration with Hexaware Technologies. The events were graced by the presence of Hexaware dignitaries and senior leaders, who encouraged and interacted with the scholarship students. 721 students received comprehensive school kits comprising school bags, notebooks, water bottles, and stationery, ensuring they were well-equipped for the academic year. The initiative reflects Hexaware's continued commitment to supporting quality education and empowering students from economically marginalized communities with the resources they need to succeed.

It has become a cherished tradition that every year, our overseas donor, Ms. Kinjal Parikh, celebrates her birthday with the children from our community. This year was no different, as the children of the Janta Vasahat Study Centre marked the occasion with joy, laughter, and lots of fun.

Beat the Heat, Stay Hydrated!

This summer witnessed exceptionally high temperatures across Maharashtra, severely impacting vulnerable communities. Most of them work as farm labourers, brick kiln workers, daily wage labourers, and seasonal fishing workers, spending long hours outdoors in the harsh summer. Their children also accompany them without wearing any footwear.
An organisation called Abhaydan organised a campaign to provide water as summer relief. We joined hands with them and implemented various summer relief activities such as distribution of water, hats, footwear for children, and awareness sessions on how people can protect themselves from sun stroke, sun burns during summer months in our locations. This included hydration kit distribution for 170 daily-wage workers and footwear support for 98 tribal children.

Celebrating the Spirit of Volunteering!

To make the start of the school year extra special to young learners, volunteers from Allianz Technology India stepped up - not once, but twice - to make sure every child walked into a brighter, more welcoming space. A heartfelt thank you to incredible volunteers from Allianz Technology India for dedicating their time, skills, and enthusiasm towards creating vibrant and inspiring spaces for young learners.

🎨 School Painting Activity
The volunteers brought walls to life at Rajaram Bhiku Pathare School, Kharadi and Government LP School, Manvila in Trivandrum, by painting dining areas with colorful themes around healthy food and habits. The volunteers from Pune and Trivandrum contributed to transforming ordinary spaces into engaging learning environments.

🌈 Creation of Monsoon Themed Study Aids
To make the start of the school year extra special, volunteers prepared creatives to decorate classrooms and study centers with lively monsoon-themed creations—from paper cutouts of mushrooms, umbrellas, and rainbows to fun activities like Snake & Ladder. This initiative saw active participation from volunteers from Trivandrum and Pune offices of Allianz Technology.

World Environment Day Celebration

Our young eco-warriors celebrated Environment Day by learning environmental conservation with meaningful action. Children collected seeds and soil from nearby areas and prepared seed balls. They also handcrafted paper bags to pack the seed balls, which will be distributed to Warkaris during the Ashadhi Wari journey. The Warkaris can then scatter these seed balls along their journey to Pandharpur, helping spread greenery and nurture nature across the route.

Home Safety Activity at Vaiduwadi Hadapsar

Thanks to Hexaware volunteers and Amhi Parivartak team
A ‘Safe at Home’ awareness activity was held for 40 children by 13 Hexaware volunteers. They engaged children through interactive discussion on safe use of gas cylinders, switch boards, and road safety rules. Post discussion, children expressed their learning by creating posters and charts on home safety.

Learning ‘Safety Awareness’ focused on body safety, safe circle, fire safety, internet safety, road safety and important traffic rules!

Students at IDEA study centres were engaged in interactive games, posters, discussions, and creative activities. They also learned about trusted adults, recognizing safe and unsafe situations.
