Have you ever said “No” to someone…
and immediately felt guilty?
You replay the conversation.
You wonder if you sounded rude.
You think about calling them back and saying, “Okay, I’ll do it.”
And sometimes you eventually say yes—not because you wanted to, but because you couldn’t tolerate the guilt of saying no.
I’ve come to believe that sometimes this guilt has very little to do with what we’ve actually done. It comes from years of being taught that a “good” person adjusts.
A good person helps.
A good person doesn’t disappoint others.
A good person puts others first.
So when you finally say, “No, I can’t,” it feels almost wrong. But here’s the truth:
You are allowed to have limits.
You are allowed to be tired.
You are allowed to not have the emotional capacity.
You are allowed to protect your time.
You are allowed to change your mind.
And yes…
you are even allowed to disappoint someone. This doesn’t automatically make you selfish.
Sometimes people aren’t upset because you did something wrong. They’re upset because they didn’t get the answer they wanted. There’s a difference. So the next time you say no and feel guilty, don’t rush to undo your boundary.
Take a breath.
Ask yourself -
“Am I guilty because I did something wrong, or because I finally did something for myself?”
That question can be surprisingly powerful. Because sometimes saying no to someone else is not rejection.
It’s simply… saying yes to yourself. ❤️

This Teachers’ Day, I want to say something to every teacher… ❤️
You don’t always have to be strong.
You don’t always have to have the answers.
And you certainly don’t have to carry everyone’s expectations on your shoulders.
Your students need your knowledge, yes.
But they also need you — the human being behind the teacher.
So today, please take a little care of yourself too.
Because a teacher who is emotionally cared for doesn’t just teach lessons…
they create safe spaces where children learn to believe in themselves.
And perhaps the most important lesson we can teach our children is one we must first learn ourselves:
Taking care of yourself is not selfish.
It is necessary. ❤️
Happy Teachers’ Day to every teacher who quietly makes a difference in someone’s life.
Why do we sometimes continue responding in the same way even when we consciously want to change?
— Why do we overthink?
Why do we struggle to say no?
— Why do certain relationships keep triggering the same emotions?
— Why can everything look fine from the outside, while something inside feels exhausted?
This book is my attempt to explore these questions with awareness, compassion and understanding.
If the above speaks to you, I’d be very happy if you explored the book.

What if emotional exhaustion isn't always about doing too much?
Sometimes, we are exhausted because we've been holding too much inside.
We keep saying yes when we want to say no.
We keep explaining ourselves.
We keep worrying about disappointing people.
We keep trying to be strong.
We keep taking care of everyone else while quietly postponing ourselves.
And after a while, we don't even question it.
We simply think,
“This is just who I am.”
But in therapeutic conversations, I've often found it useful to become curious about this statement.
Maybe the better question is...
“When did I learn that I had to be this way?”
Perhaps saying yes once helped you feel accepted.
Perhaps being perfect helped you feel safe.
Perhaps staying quiet helped you avoid conflict.
Perhaps taking care of everyone else made you feel needed.
These responses may have served an important purpose at one time.
But a pattern that once helped us cope can sometimes become a pattern that keeps us exhausted.
The good news is that awareness gives us a choice.
We don't have to change everything overnight.
Start small.
Before automatically saying yes, pause.
Before apologising, ask yourself whether you actually did something wrong.
Before pushing yourself through exhaustion, ask:
“What do I genuinely need right now?”
And perhaps allow yourself to act on the answer.
This is part of the larger conversation behind Dr. Supritee Kulshreshtha's book, The Healing You Were Waiting For.
A book about emotional patterns, relationships, past experiences, self-understanding and the journey from judging ourselves to understanding ourselves.
At its heart,
You are not broken. You are responding.
And sometimes healing begins when we stop fighting the response long enough to understand what it is trying to tell us.

Hi all the beautiful souls ❤️
I’m Back 😊
And this time, let’s talk about Parenting (The Real Kind...)
After a long pause… I’m returning here.
Not with motivational quotes. Not with perfect parenting formulas. But with honest conversations.
In my therapy room at DecodingBrainz, the most common sentence I hear from parents is
“Doctor, I’m trying so hard… but I still feel I’m doing something wrong.”
And I very much understand that, today’s parents are expected to be calm, emotionally aware, patient, screen-time managers, nutritionists, teachers, gentle disciplinarians all at the same time. No previous generation was given these many rules about how to raise a child.
And somewhere in the process...parenting has become exhausting.
So what is Conscious Parenting actually?
It is not always staying calm...
Never getting angry...
or Being a “perfect” parent...
It is simply noticing before reacting.
— Sometimes the child is not being “difficult”, may be he is having a difficult emotion.
— Sometimes the shouting is not disrespect...may be his nervous system asking for regulation.
— And sometimes the trigger is not the child at all...may be it is our own unhealed memory getting activated.
A few truths I’ve learned while working with families that...
Children don’t learn emotional control from lectures...they learn it from our tone.
Correction works only after connection...A child who feels safe listens faster.
Parenting improves when self-awareness improves. Our calmness becomes their inner voice.
Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing small, practical and realistic insights....
not textbook psychology, but everyday psychology.
Things you can actually use at home… the same day.
No judgement. No guilt. No “ideal parent” pressure.
Just understanding....
If you’re a parent (or even an adult trying to heal your own childhood), tell me...
What feels hardest right now?
— Tantrums?
— Anger?
— Screen time?
— Not listening?
— Guilt?
Comment or message me
I personally read every one.😊❤️
Let us restart this space together.
Slowly...Honestly...Humanly.

"Heal the boy and the man will appear" ....The Lost Inner Child
“Why do I always feel like I’m not enough even when I succeed?”
“Why do I sabotage the love I crave?”
“Why does rejection from my partner feel like my whole being is collapsing?”
These are not just questions... but are echoes and whispers of a lost inner child, a forgotten part of us, a part that once cried for love… and never got an answer.
Yes, it’s true. These voices belong to our lost inner child. And whether we are a CEO, a doctor, a teacher, or a homemaker this child still lives inside us.
After years of working closely with clients from all walks of life senior professionals, anxious students, overworked mothers, struggling husbands I can say this with absolute conviction that almost every pain we carry today has a root in a forgotten childhood wound. And yet, no one taught us to go back and soothe that child...
We were told to “grow up,” “be strong,” “move on.” But trauma doesn’t disappear. It buries itself deep into the subconscious. And there, your inner child waits...
क्योंकि ,
Our inner child is that emotional memory of the little us..
• who wasn’t hugged when cried...
• who was told “you’re too sensitive”...
• who had to grow up too soon...
• who felt invisible when needed attention...
• who felt shame when should have felt safe...
That child didn’t vanish. It just learned to survive by hiding, by burying deep in our subconscious... And today, it shows up every time...
• We overreact to a small rejection...
• We feel unworthy in your own marriage...
• We fear success because “I’ll mess it up”...
• We crave validation in unhealthy ways...
I’ve seen 40-year-old professionals melt into tears as they reconnect with their 7-year-old self... And the moment that child feels seen and the real healing begins.
A real story of Priya, 34, who was always pleasing others...
Priya is a successful banker, always achieving, always ‘the good girl.’
But in therapy, she broke down one day saying
"Why do I feel so empty after everyone praises me?.. Why do I stay silent in meetings even when I have the right answers?"
In a deep inner child healing session, we met her 5-year-old self.....a quiet, obedient girl hiding in a corner after being yelled at for speaking up. Her body still remembered that moment.
We reparented that little girl in the session. Gave her a voice. Gave her warmth. And after weeks of integration…
She spoke confidently in a board meeting. She set boundaries with her in-laws.
She stopped over-apologizing.
Here is her feedback -
"For the first time in my life, I feel I’m enough, even without proving anything to anyone. I’m not lost anymore."
Why Inner Child Healing is so powerful...
because it’s not just emotional....It’s neurological.
Our brain stores emotional memories as patterns. If we ever felt unloved at age 6, our brain may still believe “I must earn love” or “I’m unlovable.” Until we go back and reprogram those moments with love, we will keep repeating the same pattern - in relationships, career, and even how we treat ourselves.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting the pain. It means fully feeling it, holding it, and finally rewriting it—with compassion.
Another client’s note ... from rage to peace
Ravi, 42, a successful entrepreneur, came to me with intense anger and control issues.
During our session, he met his 8-year-old self trembling, beaten for crying. That moment had turned his vulnerability into rage.
We held that child gently.... We gave him permission to cry ....to feel safe again.
Weeks later, he wrote...
"My wife says I’ve changed... I feel soft again. Not weak just safe. Like I can breathe without defending myself all the time."
So, how do we know our 'Inner Child' Is still hurting....??
Read carefully if -
• We fear abandonment or rejection too deeply...
• We feel not good enough despite achievements...
• We overwork, overgive, or over-control...
• We avoid emotions or feel numb...
• We stay in toxic relationships out of guilt or fear...
• We crave validation more than connection
And what ' Inner Child Healing ' Is not about -
• It’s not blaming your parents....
• It’s not just “remembering” your childhood....
and
• It’s not a quick fix....
Instead...
It is a gentle, sacred journey.... A process of reparenting the child within you With presence. With patience. With deep forgiveness.
Let me share my own truth...
I’ve walked this path too. I’ve met the little girl in me who felt unseen. Who thought her needs were "too much." Who carried guilt for having emotions.
And I didn’t just do this once. I still revisit her when needed.
In every healing session I guide, I sit beside her not as an expert, but as someone who’s been through it… the more I hugged her in my meditations, the more whole I became.
That’s why I don’t “treat” people. I help them remember who they truly are beneath the pain.
And it’s the most sacred work I’ve ever done.
What my Clients Say After Healing
“I can look in the mirror without self-hate now.” ...
“I don’t feel like a burden anymore.” ..
“I finally forgave myself.” ..
“I am parenting my children differently now because I healed my own wounds.”...
These transformations didn’t come from logic. They came from emotional integration. From embracing the very parts we once disowned.
If anyone of you’ve ever felt like something’s “off” inside…and if you’ve tried logic, affirmations, and therapy but still feel stuck.
Then....believe me you are not broken....you are not weak....you are just disconnected from the part of you that never got the love it needed.
And maybe… just maybe… It’s time to finally meet your inner child. Because the healing we seek in our adult life… was always waiting in our childhood heart.
Let me walk that journey with you.
Send me a message. I work gently, deeply, and in safe space with you. Together, we’ll find the part of you that was never broken.....just waiting to be seen.
With compassion,
helping you meet your inner child so you can finally come home to yourself.

How Wounds Show Up: A Therapist’s Real Journey with Invisible Pain
“Why am I like this, Supriti? ..I have everything in life… but it still feels like something is missing.”
A 56-year-old teacher sat in front of me with tears rolling down her cheeks. From the outside, she had done everything right. A respected job... Two grown-up kids... A loving husband... But there was a silent ache inside her chest that had followed her for decades for no reason she could name.
I’ve heard this kind of silence many times now. As a therapist and founder of DecodingBrainz, I’ve sat with hundreds of people ....CEOs, homemakers, doctors, entrepreneurs, college students and beneath their roles, I see the same thing:
Unseen wounds...
Wounds that don’t scream...
They whisper. And yet, they shape everything...
How do wounds show up?
Let me tell you a story from my own practice.
One woman, in her late 40s, came to me because she always ended up moving back into her ancestral home. Every time she tried to move into a house of her own, something failed .... paperwork, illness, accidents, unexpected family drama. She believed she was just “unlucky.”
In therapy, she revisited a moment from her childhood: her father had warned her,
“No girl from this house ever makes it outside. You’ll come crawling back.”
His voice had long gone from her ears , but not from her body.
That’s how wounds live in us as patterns...
She wasn’t unlucky. She was subconsciously obeying the script given to her as a child.
What clients say when they begin to see the root.
💬 “I always thought it was just overthinking… I never realized it was my younger self screaming for safety.”
— Ritu, after inner child healing.
💬 “I kept attracting unavailable men. I thought it was just bad luck. But the session showed me I was still chasing the love I never got as a 5-year-old girl left at boarding school.”
— Divya, after her first regression session.
💬 “I couldn't breathe for years. I used inhalers, yoga, everything. It wasn’t asthma. It was the grief of three lifetimes trapped in my chest.”
— Gagan, after a deep karmic release session.
🧠 As a therapist myself, I used to believe that pain must have a diagnosis.
But over time after my own spiritual awakenings, after sitting with the tears and breakthroughs of so many souls I’ve realized that...
Pain is not always logical...
It’s emotional. Energetic. Ancestral. Even karmic.
Not to forget that we are not just bodies with minds. We are souls with memories stretching across lifetimes.
And so, wounds show up like
• That restlessness you feel before sleeping.
• That fear of being left behind, even when you’re loved.
• That tightness in the chest during a job interview.
• That perfectionism you wear like armor.
• That anger that bursts suddenly… over something very small.
It’s not "just stress." It’s your inner system crying for integration.
Healing isn’t about giving you answers.
It’s about helping you meet the parts of yourself you’ve forgotten.
At DecodingBrainz, I offer:
Inner Child Healing - to soothe and reparent the younger self still stuck in emotional memory.
Age Regression to trace patterns back to the exact moment they began.
Past Life Regression to access karmic blocks and repeating soul lessons.
Energy Healing + Guided Hypnosis to work with the body’s wisdom and not just the mind’s logic.
Here is my clients often say after sessions -
“I met myself… finally.”
“I felt like someone witnessed the version of me I had buried long ago.”
“This changed something deep. I don’t know how to explain it, but I feel lighter.”
For me, as a therapist, the most beautiful part is when they leave not fixed, but reconnected...
So if this stirred something in you…
Maybe a lump in your throat.
Maybe a memory you thought was long gone.
Maybe a desire to go deeper…
Reach out to me when you’re ready. Therapy at DecodingBrainz isn’t clinical. It’s soulful. Safe. Transformational.
Sometimes, one session can begin the journey back to yourself.
Let’s uncover what your body, mind, and soul already know, but have been waiting for you to remember.
Because wounds are not your weakness.
They are portals to your healing.
With love,
Dr. Supriti Kulshreshtha
