Robominds

🇮🇳 6TH PLACE AT WRO APAC 2026! 🚀🏆

Three cheers for our Robominds, Junior High, Robomission team!!

Over three gruelling days, 30+ countries and facing some of the best young robotics teams from around the world. Our Robominds team has finished 6th at the WRO 2026 Asia Pacific International Open Championship! 🇮🇳🎉

What started with a WRO India National Championship qualification, took our students all the way to the global stage where they competed, adapted, solved problems under pressure, and held their own against some of the best teams from across the globe.

The competition was extremely intense and tough. What separated the top 8 teams were only a few points. The challenges kept changing and every point mattered.

And through it all, our students showed what happens when curiosity meets perseverance, teamwork and a willingness to keep pushing forward. 🤖🔥
For us, this result is about more than a ranking. It is about seeing our students take everything they have learned, step onto a world stage, and prove to themselves that they belong there.

A huge congratulations to our incredible students, their families, and everyone who supported them on this journey. ❤️

You represented Robominds.
You represented India.
And you made us incredibly proud. 🇮🇳

Join us in congratulating the team! 👏🎉

“Robominds taught me that every challenge is a chance to grow, and every victory is the result of your own effort.”

Hi, I’m Anay Torane, 14 years old, and I joined Robominds at just 6. Over the last 8 years, it’s become my second home—I’m usually the first to arrive and always finding ways to stay longer!

I joined robotics looking for a challenge. I’ve always been a hands-on, experiential learner, and Robominds gave me the freedom to explore technology with creativity and real-world application. From my very first class, I was hooked—turning ideas into working robots felt unreal.

After building strong fundamentals, I was proud to represent Robominds in international competitions like WRO, FLL, and GRG. These experiences were intense, demanding, and life-changing. Beyond engineering, they taught me teamwork, resilience, and helped me build friendships that will last a lifetime.

I’m honored to have represented India at GRG 2024 in Singapore and to have secured 2nd place at the WRO 2025 India National Championship. One of our toughest moments was during WRO prep when our robot kept failing. With time running out, my team D-Martians rebuilt everything from scratch. Through constant testing, patience, and perseverance, we made it work—and that lesson will stay with me forever.

For the past 10 months, I’ve also been an intern at Robominds, mentoring younger students and contributing to projects. This experience boosted my confidence and reinforced that robotics is about much more than machines—it’s about growth, collaboration, and life skills.

I hope to pursue aeronautical engineering, and for anyone considering Robominds: it’s not just about STEM—it’s about building a mindset that takes you far beyond robotics. 🚀

“Robominds has taught me how to turn fear and uncertainty into confidence and skill.”

Robominds taught me how to turn fear and uncertainty into confidence and skill.
When I joined in 2022, I didn’t realise how much it would shape the way I think, work, and face challenges.

Growth here wasn’t loud or instant—it happened quietly. I learnt that robotics isn’t about rushing to solutions, but understanding the process, thinking step by step, testing methodically, and learning from failures. Those habits became part of who I am.

Beyond engineering, interacting with corporates, students, parents, and partners helped me build confidence, communication skills, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply. Some of my best memories came from late nights, failed runs, brainstorming sessions, and finally solving problems after days of effort.

My mentors never gave easy answers—they pushed me to think deeper and rise to the challenge. I walked in unsure and afraid of mistakes; today, that fear has turned into confidence. Robominds didn’t remove the difficulty—it taught me how to navigate it, and along the way, it became home.

If you’re starting out: don’t quit when things feel out of reach. Keep showing up. There’s no better place to grow than Robominds.
