STRESS IS NOT JUST IN YOUR HEAD. YOUR BODY FEELS IT TOO.
When life feels overwhelming, your nervous system can move into survival mode:
⚡ FIGHT — irritability, anger, frustration
🏃♀️ FLIGHT — overthinking, worrying, staying constantly busy
🧊 FREEZE — shutting down, feeling numb, unable to act
🤍 FAWN — people-pleasing, saying yes when you want to say no, putting everyone else first
These aren’t character flaws.
They are protective responses your body has learned.
And sometimes, what looks like “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” “too needy” or “too much” is simply a nervous system asking for safety.
You are not too much.
You may simply have been carrying too much for too long.
Healing begins when we stop fighting ourselves and start listening to what our body is trying to tell us. 🌿

🌿 A NEW CHAPTER
After 20 beautiful years of Kinderbrook Preschool, I’m stepping into a new chapter — one that is very close to my heart.
For two decades, I had the privilege of nurturing little minds, supporting families and watching children grow. Kinderbrook has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I will always carry those memories with me. ❤️
But life has a way of nudging us towards what comes next.
As I entered my 50s and recently turned 60, I began experiencing my own changes — menopause, the stress and anxiety of the COVID years, becoming an empty nester, and gradually realising that somewhere along the way, I had stopped putting my own health on the list.
My health became my wake-up call.
I started learning.
I changed my nutrition.
I became more intentional about movement and strength.
I worked on my habits, mindset and emotional wellbeing.
I became my first client.
And that journey led me here.
Today, I’m stepping forward as a Health & Life Coach for Women 45+, helping women navigate changing health, hormones, habits, mindset and identity — and create a healthier, happier and more meaningful next chapter.
🌿 Kinderbrook was about helping children PLAY • LEARN • GROW • BELONG.
And perhaps my next chapter is about helping women do the same — in a different way.
