An Inspiring Exchange with the Medical Community 🤝🧬
We had the privilege of addressing the members of the Bhiwandi Medical Practitioners Association on the role of genomics in healthcare, personalised wellness and it's applications in clinical practice.
The session provided an excellent opportunity to connect with more than 60 practising doctors.
We thank the Bhiwandi Medical Practitioners Association for the opportunity and all the participating doctors for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation. This engagement reflects the collective efforts of the team. Our sincere appreciation to Manish Pungliya for leading the session, and to @ Dr Atul Kothadiya and Pankaj Gupta Gupta, BDS, MBA, PGDCA for their continued support in making this engagement possible.
We look forward to many more such opportunities to collaborate with the medical community in advancing personalised healthcare in India.

BIRSA-101: India's CRISPR Breakthrough 🔬🧬
Some of the world's most advanced gene therapies can cost over US$2 million per patient.
According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 7.74 million people worldwide are living with Sickle Cell Disease with approximately 515,000 new births recorded in 2021. (WHO Fact Sheet: Sickle-cell disease, 2025)
Developed by CSIR-IGIB, BIRSA-101, India's first indigenous CRISPR-based gene therapy for Sickle Cell Disease, represents an important step towards reducing the cost barriers associated with advanced gene therapies and strengthening India's capabilities in genomic medicine.
Beyond a single therapy, BIRSA-101 demonstrates how genomics can help address disease at its very source while paving the way for future advances in precision medicine.
At GeneArche, we extend our congratulations to the scientists and researchers behind this milestone in India's genomics journey. Advances such as these reinforce our own belief in the power of genomics to redefine human wellness and longevity.

How long until we can pull a replacement kidney “off the shelf” as easily as a skin graft? Or patch a neurological deficit with code? 🧬🤖
If the current pace of medical innovation doesn’t give you goosebumps, you aren’t paying attention.
In Issue 06 of DrPG’s HealthAI Intel, we move beyond hospital operations and look at the ultimate frontier: The Post-Donor Era. The lines are no longer just blurring between our devices and our doctors. They are blurring between biology and machine.
We are standing at the convergence of Drug Discovery, Regenerative Medicine, and AI. In this issue, Dr. Pankaj Gupta
Pankaj Gupta breaks down:
1️⃣ AlphaFold & Accelerated Cures
Collapsing the drug discovery timeline.
2️⃣ Regenerative Medicine
Using CRISPR and AI to biomanufacture HLA-invisible, off-the-shelf organs and potentially correct rare diseases at scale.
3️⃣ The Augmented Human
How Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) like Neuralink are merging mind and machine.
The science is moving faster than our ethical frameworks. We must ask ourselves the hard question: How do we price radical longevity and advanced cures? Will we democratise these breakthroughs, or create the ultimate biological divide?
Join the debate and read the full issue here.

Celebrating International DNA Day 2026 🧬
Observed every year on 25 April, International DNA Day marks the discovery of the DNA double helix structure in 1953, proposed by James Watson and Francis Crick, based on key contributions from Rosalind Franklin and Maurice Wilkins. It also commemorates the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003.
The day reflects how far genetics has come and its significance in modern science and healthcare. As the field continues to evolve, it also brings into focus the importance of responsible use and more informed conversations around DNA in everyday health and long-term wellbeing.

Sun, sand, water and a moment to pause and recharge. 🌊😎
Both GeneArche Wellness and AyuGen Biosciences-Science Behind Life teams stepped away from their usual pace and headed to the coast for a change of scenery and mindset. New surroundings, fresh air and a day that was all about slowing down, having fun and reconnecting beyond work.
From beach games to quiet moments by the waves, it was a reminder that taking time to unwind isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. It helps us reset, support each other better and return with clearer heads and stronger energy, along with a stronger sense of togetherness.

Genomics and Artificial Intelligence: Rethinking Healthcare Delivery
Healthcare is gradually moving beyond a “one size fits all” approach, with advances in genomics and artificial intelligence helping us better understand how individual differences, from DNA to lifestyle, can influence health. Modern sequencing technologies generate vast amounts of genetic data, while bioinformatics pipelines transform this into meaningful insights. AI can further build on this by identifying patterns across genomic, clinical and lifestyle data, therefore supporting more informed approaches to health awareness and decision-making.
This article explores how the convergence of genomics, big data and AI is shaping a more personalised and proactive model of healthcare.
