*Rakhi Making & Raksha Bandhan Celebration at DAV Alok Public School, Pundag, Ranchi*

Under CCA, today more than 300 students from Class 6 to 12 showcased their creativity by preparing beautiful handmade Rakhis and celebrated the pious festival of Raksha Bandhan with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Teachers also supported and actively participated in this colourful occasion, making it more vibrant and meaningful.

The entire program was beautifully organized by our Head Boy, Head Girl and their dedicated team.

On this occasion, _Principal Dr. Ashok Kumar_ said that this is the true and complete education. This is the platform where students transform themselves from personal to professional, and from unskilled to skilled.

The best Rakhis were selected by the judges for prizes.

*Van Mahotsav Celebration at DAV Alok Public School, Pundag, Ranchi*

Today, Van Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of PN to Std 12.

On this occasion, a grand awareness procession was organized by the students and teachers with banners, posters and slogans. The procession started from Pundag Village to the school campus. Students from Class 2 to Class 12 actively participated in it.

Thereafter, more than 400 saplings of Neem, Banyan, Peepal, Gulmohar and fruit-bearing plants like Mango, Litchi, Jamun, Jackfruit and Guava were brought and planted by the students in and around the school premises.

On the occasion, _Principal Dr. Ashok Kumar_ highlighted the consequences of deforestation and emphasized the importance of plantation. He explained to the students about the adverse impacts of deforestation like Global Warming and Greenhouse Effect.

The Head Boy & Head Girl along with their entire team put in their honest and commendable efforts to make the program a grand success.

Independence Day Celebration 2026 🇮🇳

Today, 15th August 2026, the 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervor across all three branches of *DAV Alok Public School*.

1. DAV Alok Kids School, Near Old Argora Chowk
The National Flag was hoisted at 8:00 AM by Dr. Ashok Kumar, Principal, DAV Alok Public School, Pundag.
Our tiny tots from Play Group showcased adorable patriotic dances that were highly appreciated by parents. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets.

2. DAV Alok Public School, Gargaon, Bero Branch
The Tricolor was hoisted by Sri Prabhakar Deo, SMC President.
Students presented a vibrant cultural program that filled everyone with pride and was greatly appreciated by the parents present.

3. DAV Alok Public School, Pundag
At 10:30 AM, the Tricolor was hoisted by our respected Dr. Alok Kumar, Managing Trustee.
Students from PN to Class VII displayed their dedication and enthusiasm through soulful cultural performances.
Parents enjoyed the program and joined in the celebrations.

Special Appreciation:
The success of the program goes to our *newly elected Head Boy & Head Girl, Cultural Heads & their entire team members, and all the teachers* for their hard work and coordination.

The day concluded on a note of unity, pride, and commitment to the nation.
