Nana Patekar, one of Indian cinema’s most powerful and distinctive performers, has passed away at the age of 75.
The veteran actor was reportedly found unconscious at his Goa residence after suffering a cardiac arrest. Known for his intense performances, unforgettable dialogue delivery and decades-long contribution to Indian cinema, Patekar leaves behind a legacy that goes far beyond the screen.
From Krantiveer and Agni Sakshi to Ab Tak Chhappan and Welcome, his performances became a part of popular culture and earned him a place among the most respected actors of his generation.
Indian cinema has lost a true powerhouse.
