भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स, हिमाचल प्रदेश की राज्य परिषद की बैठक 20 अगस्त को आर्म्सडेल बिल्डिंग, स्टेट सेक्रेटेरिएट, शिमला में माननीय शिक्षा मंत्री, हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं उपाध्यक्ष, भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स हिमाचल प्रदेश श्री रोहित ठाकुर की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई। बैठक में प्रदेश के सभी 12 जिलों के राज्य परिषद सदस्यों एवं पदाधिकारियों ने भाग लिया।

🔹 श्री राकेश कंवर, आईएएस, प्रशासनिक सचिव (शिक्षा), हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार को सर्वसम्मति से भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स हिमाचल प्रदेश का राज्य मुख्य आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया।

🔹 नवनियुक्त राज्य मुख्य आयुक्त ने संगठन के सुदृढ़ीकरण, विस्तार एवं जमीनी स्तर तक गतिविधियों को प्रभावी बनाने के लिए योजनाबद्ध तरीके से कार्य करने की प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।

🔹 कब्स एवं बुलबुल्स से लेकर स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स तथा रोवर्स एवं रेंजर्स तक सभी वर्गों के विकास और विस्तार पर विशेष ध्यान देने की बात कही गई।

🔹 माननीय शिक्षा मंत्री श्री रोहित ठाकुर ने कहा कि स्काउटिंग एवं गाइडिंग युवाओं में अनुशासन, नेतृत्व, सेवा भावना, आत्मनिर्भरता एवं सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी की भावना विकसित करने का प्रभावी माध्यम है।

🔹 उन्होंने कहा कि स्काउटिंग को केवल शहरों तक सीमित न रखते हुए गांवों, दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों और प्रदेश के प्रत्येक बच्चे एवं युवा तक पहुंचाना आवश्यक है।

🔹 बदलते समय की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप कौशल विकास, पर्यावरण संरक्षण, आपदा प्रबंधन, सामाजिक सेवा एवं नेतृत्व विकास जैसी गतिविधियों को और अधिक बढ़ावा देने पर जोर दिया गया।

🔹 बैठक में संगठन की विभिन्न गतिविधियों, प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों, जिला इकाइयों की कार्यप्रगति एवं आगामी कार्यक्रमों पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।

राज्य परिषद ने प्रदेश में स्काउटिंग एवं गाइडिंग को और अधिक सशक्त बनाते हुए इसे ग्रासरूट स्तर तक पहुंचाने के लिए सामूहिक रूप से कार्य करने का संकल्प लिया।

🤝 Together for a Stronger Scouting Movement | हर युवा तक स्काउटिंग

जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (DDMA) कुल्लू द्वारा GDC कुल्लू के Bharat Scouts and Guides के 55 Rovers and Rangers के लिए आयोजित युवा आपदा मित्र प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ 28 जुलाई 2026 से ABVIMAS Pirdi, कुल्लू में सफलतापूर्वक प्रारंभ किया गया है I

प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत स्वयंसेवकों को Search & Rescue, First Aid, Fire Safety, आपदा प्रबंधन एवं आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया से संबंधित सैद्धांतिक एवं व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जा रहा है।

प्रशिक्षण गतिविधियों के माध्यम से युवाओं को आपदा की स्थिति में त्वरित एवं प्रभावी सहायता प्रदान करने हेतु सक्षम स्वयंसेवकों के रूप में तैयार किया जा रहा है।

The Yuva Aapda Mitra Training Programme for 55 Rovers and Rangers of Bharat Scouts and Guides GDC Kullu has commenced from 28th July 2026 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS), Pirdi, Kullu, being organized by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kullu.

During the training programme, volunteers are being provided with theoretical and practical training on Search & Rescue techniques, First Aid, Fire Safety, Disaster Management, and Emergency Response. Various hands-on training activities have been initiated with the objective of developing skilled and capable youth volunteers who can effectively support the administration and community during emergencies and disaster situations.

Representing Himachal Pradesh with Pride! 💙

Two Guide Captains from Shimla and two from Kangra participated in the POSH Awareness-cum-Training Programme at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 17th July 2026.

A two-day Scouting Introductory Programme was successfully organised at DAV Public School, Ghumarwin, in which more than 400 students actively participated. During the programme, Rovers and Rangers introduced the students to the fundamental principles, aims, and activities of Scouting, fostering awareness and enthusiasm towards the Scout-Guide Movement.

As the school unit was enrolled with The Bharat Scouts and Guides last year, this programme was organised to further strengthen the unit and encourage greater participation in Scouting activities at the school level.

As dusk settled over the hills, Rovers came together to create the BSG logo using stones, illuminated beautifully by the light of their phones — a symbol of unity, creativity, and the true Scout spirit. ✨

A two-day workshop for newly enrolled Scouts and Guides was organized on 12–13 February at DAV Duttnagar, Shimla by the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh State Headquarters, on the request of school management.

During the workshop, two Rovers and two Rangers from Rampur College Unit interacted with the new Scouts and Guides and provided information about scouting, ensuring the proper and effective conduct of scouting activities in the school during the new academic session.

We are proud to present the official scarf design of the Himachal Pradesh Contingent for the 1st Rovers & Rangers Jamboree, Chhattisgarh.

The scarf represents unity, identity, and the true spirit of Rovers and Rangers of Himachal Pradesh.

भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्य मुख्य आयुक्त व उच्च शिक्षा निदेशक हिमाचल प्रदेश डॉ. अमरजीत कुमार शर्मा को स्काउटिंग आंदोलन में उत्कृष्ट सेवाओं के लिए संस्था की ओर से देश का सर्वोच्च सम्मान ‘सिल्वर एलीफेंट अवार्ड’ प्रदान किया गया। यह सम्मान आज 26 नवंबर को महामहिम राज्यपाल आनंदी बेन पटेल द्वारा राजभवन, लखनऊ, उत्तर प्रदेश में प्रदान किया गया।

डॉ. शर्मा के नेतृत्व में प्रदेश में स्काउटिंग गतिविधियों के विस्तार, प्रशिक्षण उन्नयन और युवा विकास को नई दिशा मिली है।

इस उपलब्धि पर हिमाचल प्रदेश का सम्पूर्ण स्काउट-गाइड परिवार गौरवान्वित है।
