Chintamanrao Deshmukh Institute for Administrative Careers is a unique venture undertaken by the Thane Municipal Corporation since 1987.
It enjoys the reputation of being perhaps the only institute being run by a municipal corporation.
Preparation goes beyond books, notes and examinations.
The Foundation Batch 2026–27 had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Batchu (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Thane, in an engaging session at C.D. Deshmukh Institute.
Through experiences from public service, practical perspectives and interactions with aspirants, the session offered a glimpse into the responsibilities and realities that lie beyond the examination.
Because the journey is not only about achieving a rank — it is also about understanding the role you are preparing to take on.
Aspirants
From being an aspirant at C.D. Deshmukh Institute to returning as AIR 44 in IFoS.
We were delighted to welcome back our alumnus, Mr. Adhish Tiwari, for a special interaction with the Prelims Cum Mains Guidance Batch.
A room full of questions soon became a conversation full of experiences, perspectives and insights — with someone who has walked the same path our aspirants are walking today.
Because every question is an opportunity to learn, and every insight is a step forward.
Independence gave India the power to shape its own future. What carries that freedom forward is the responsibility we take for the nation we continue to build.
This Independence Day, CD Deshmukh Institute celebrates the spirit of freedom, responsibility and service that strengthens India with every generation.
Happy Independence Day. 🇮🇳
Leadership is not built only in classrooms. It is built in conversations where ideas are questioned, perspectives are heard and decisions are thought through.
A glimpse from a recent Group Discussion session at Chintamanrao Deshmukh Institute for Administrative Careers, where aspirants came together to express their views, listen to different perspectives and sharpen the communication and critical-thinking skills essential for future administrators.
Because becoming a civil servant is not just about knowing the answer. It is also about learning how to think, articulate and respond with purpose.
More such learning experiences are part of the journey at CD Institute.
