Steel is often perceived as a rigid material, but the office of SSAB showcases its remarkable flexibility. High-strength steel plates have been bent, twisted, and perforated to create distinctive architectural and furniture elements throughout the workspace. SSAB’s steel products are integrated into wall paneling, designer screens, ceiling features, and custom-designed furniture, demonstrating both their structural performance and aesthetic potential.
Located within SSAB’s central warehouse, the office is organized across two levels. The ground floor accommodates the reception area, product display zone, and café, while the first floor contains the workspaces and conference facilities.
The interior palette balances the brand’s signature pink and blue colours with a predominantly neutral scheme, creating a professional environment that highlights the innovative use of steel. Photography: Prathamesh Mahajan

The Experience Centre for Birla Estates’ Taranya is envisioned as a seamless dialogue between built form and landscape. Designed with a clear customer flow, the layout intuitively guides visitors through a series of interconnected spaces.

Fragmented volumes form multiple courtyards and landscape pockets, ensuring a constant visual connection to the outdoors. A muted palette and light architectural language allow the structure to blend effortlessly into its surroundings- creating an experience that is calm, immersive, and deeply contextual.

Our studio is conceived as an extension of our design philosophy- honest,clean, and purpose driven. Designed as an open studio, the workspace encourages transparency, collaboration, and easy interaction, while thoughtfully responding to diverse functional requirements.

A structured material palette defines the interior language. Bare and raw materials like exposed concrete, natural wood, textured surfaces, and muted finishes are celebrated for their inherent character rather than concealed. This minimalist approach allows light, proportion, spatial clarity and the natural textures to take precedence, a calm, focused, and timeless working environment.

While the studio remains visually open, subtle spatial divisions and lightweight partitions create distinct zones for workspace, meetings, collaborative discussions, and informal break areas. These segregated yet connected spaces ensure functional efficiency without compromising the openness.
