Raga Durga is a popular raga in Hindustani classical music, known for its calm, devotional, and peacefulmood. It belongs to the Bilarval thaat and uses only five notes (pentatonic scale): Sa, Re, Ma, Pa, and Dha while Ga and Ni are omitted. Often performed during the evening, Raga Durga creates an atmosphere of serenity and spiritual reflection, making it a favorite for both vocal and instrumental performances.
