In 2012, MDM Lab decided to exploit the expertise in underwater robotics in order to assemble a team for SAUC-E competition.
The Mechatronic and Dynamic Modelling Laboratory (MDM Lab) of the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIEF) is one of the most active department in Italy in the field of underwater robotics with several national and European projects funded starting from 2010:
