🌍 𝗔 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

Yesterday, within the framework of the 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗖 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, participants connected online with 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗼, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀.

The meeting offered an important opportunity to present the role and activities of the Italian fisheries administration, while opening a dialogue on 𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 between Italy and ASEAN countries.

Yesterday, on the occasion of 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗖 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 and the 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 participating in the training met with 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗶 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗶, Director of 𝗖𝗜𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶, for an open exchange on expectations and first impressions of the training.

The meeting created a valuable space for 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, highlighting participants’ perspectives after the first days of activities.

💠 A key moment to align visions and strengthen the sense of a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 within the COOPMEC training journey.

🌍 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗖 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱.

Yesterday we welcomed 𝟮𝟱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 in Italy — the largest technical delegation hosted so far within the framework of 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in this field.

This marks the beginning of an intensive 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡–𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 focused on:
• 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗦𝗙)
• 𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
• 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Over the coming weeks, participants will engage with 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 to explore shared challenges and solutions across regions.

The programme will also activate a permanent 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, creating a space for dialogue on 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 across the value chain — a key step toward more inclusive sector development.

🤝 The training is part of the 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗖 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, implemented by 𝗖𝗜𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶 and funded by 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, in coordination with the 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁.

More than a training, this is the starting point of a 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 between 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻.
