PISA CHURCHES OPEN AT NIGHT ON FRIDAY, 8 MAY
On Friday 8 May, thanks to the kindness of the respective parish priests and with the help of volunteers, seven churches in the historic centre will be open from 9 pm until midnight. During this special night-time opening, each church – all of which are situated along a guided route in the southern part of the city – will host musical performances by local artists and groups. It is a unique opportunity to visit, explore, pray, listen to music and take a ‘night-time’ stroll through some of Pisa’s religious gems.
