🌀 CircleMED project proudly launched its last week at the Salon des Transitions organised by CCI du Var in Toulon, last 18 June.

💻 The platform will empower companies of any size to assess their own ♻️ and to receive personalised suggestions to improve their performance in the future.
💡 The platforms provides a flexible, non-competitive and non-binding tool to accompany towards their circular economy objectives
🎲 The platform is completed by a Board Game, to connect users with the funcionalities of the platform, and to increase attention and awareness towards the thematic of circular economy.

👏 A big thank you to all 🌀 CircleMED Partners for attending the event, and to Interreg Euro-MED project officer Guillaume Javourez for his participation and contribution to this very special moment.

🌀 CircleMED fifth in-person meeting brought the project partners to 🇫🇷

🌀 project was in last week for 🌊 Circle the Med, the Mediterranean Forum of the Interreg Euro-MED's Innovative Sustainable Economy .

🏛️ A Forum to together policymakers, innovators, researchers, public authorities, civil society and private sector actors for a New 🤝Pact for a Sustainable Mediterranean Future.

CircleMED was invited as on the panel 💠 "Economies of Regeneration: Redesigning Growth for a Sustainable Future", and participated in high level diaglogues, workshops and working groups.

💡 A great opportunity to showcase the work done by CircleMED, and discuss future scenarios and innovative solutions.

🌀 Lead partner, Italian Università degli Studi di Torino, was in Rome last Friday 15 May with the Euro-MED National Contact Point Italy 🇮🇹.

Great opportunity to get to know 🤝newly funded MED projects, meet with old and new colleagues, and 💡exchange ideas on Circular Economy, Tourism, and discuss challenges and good practices for Interreg Euro-MED Projects.

The 🌀 CircleMED Future Labs initiative is expanding with two new events taking place in Kozani, Western Macedonia, on December 4 and 5, 2025 led by Incommon with the support of Εθνικό Κέντρο Έρευνας και Τεχνολογικής Ανάπτυξης. The events will focus on aspects of the circular economy in the everyday life of citizens, both in their daily habits and in the local business models.

💡 Through the workshops, it will be highlighted how citizens of Kozani perceive the challenges and opportunities of the transition from the existing linear to a circular economy, reflecting both the results of the “Surveying Citizens Local Report”, and on the takeaways of the two Local Advisory Board meetings held in the region.

🎲 Games will be used to highlight the creative ideas of the participants linked to the aspects of the circular economy, such as: Prevention, Repair, Reconstruction, Reuse, Composting, Recycling, Sharing Economy, Bioeconomy, etc.

🎭 Participants will be invited to explore their challenges through theatre-pedagogical activities and to develop solutions using the principles of the R’s of circularity.

Crucially, both Labs will be supported and assisted by distinguished Local Advisory Members, who will bring invaluable knowledge, experience and expertise to the process.

In addition, the results of the two Future Labs aim to:
🔹Bring new perspectives to the public debate.
🔹Strengthen social dialogue around alternative solutions to dominant paradigms.
🔹Enable discussion and citizen participation to raise awareness around circularity and sustainability issues.
