Yesterday, Venice celebrated la festa del Redentore, a tradition dating back to 1577, when the city gave thanks for the end of the plague.
Today, with the floating bridge, boats across the lagoon, and spectacular fireworks, the Redentore remains one of Venice’s most beloved celebrations. ❤️✨
