As a summer of sport comes to a close, we wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate the Sub 9 team on not only their attempt to complete the Tours Métropole - Loire Valley triathlon in under nine hours, but also their grit and determination to keep going and continue competing in new triathlon challenges .

After their sub nine triathlon attempt earlier this summer, Wayne said “When we first set out with the ambitious goal of completing an Ironman in under nine hours, we knew it would take more than just the three of us to make it happen. Hawk’s backing, encouragement, and belief in the project played a huge role in allowing us to pursue this challenge and push our limits.

Beyond the performance itself, what has made this experience so special has been the impact it has had within our local community and beyond. Seeing people across the island and even in Guernsey follow the journey, engage on social media, and get behind the project has been truly amazing. The support, messages, and encouragement we received along the way exceeded anything we could have imagined and made every step of the journey even more meaningful.

For us, Sub 9 is not the end, it is just the beginning. As a team, we are already looking ahead to new challenges and continuing to pursue our passion for endurance sport.”

The Sub 9 team continues to challenge themselves! Dale Quenault-Reeve and Wayne Quenault will be back in action together at the Duo Normand this weekend.

The Duo Normand is a 40 km two man cycling team time trial that takes place along the rolling countryside around Marigny-le-Lozon in France. Good luck Dale and Wayne.

Good luck to Wayne Quenault who will be taking part in the Challenge Almere in Amsterdam tomorrow in the hopes of completing the challenging triathlon in his fastest time yet.

Wayne joined Jonny Amy and Dale Quenault-Reeve as part of the sub 9 project over the summer to train hard together in the hopes of completing the Tours Métropole - Loire Valley triathlon in under nine hours.

The Sub 9 project was a hugely ambitious undertaking that we were proud to sponsor. It’s amazing to see the team continue to push themselves with these types of challenges.

Wow, thank you to everyone who took part in Sunday’s Mac100 ride, helping raise over £6,300 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey

The 158 cyclists who took part along with countless volunteers, helped make the event such a success.

It was great to see so many new and seasoned cyclists take on the challenge, and raise money to help Macmillan continue to provide their vital services to Islanders.

Good luck to everyone taking part in today’s Mac100 ride - we’ll be cheering you on the whole way!
