DBS checked , Safeguarding, offering Guitar, Drums,Piano/keyboard, Singing, Bass Guitar Jenca Music Rockshool(JMS) is the associate Rockschool and is the first and original leading contemporary music school in Jersey established in 2001 (as Jenca Guitar to Jenca Music in 2003) in the Channel Islands and offers popular and modern music tuition in drums, vocals, keyboard, piano and bass guitar, music production, recording, song writing and theory. All our tutors are certified Rockschool tutors and our regularly DBS checked and safeguard trained. We accept students of all ages and levels of ability and offer a fun and dynamic style of tuition. 🎹 HERE’S A SECRET EVERY SERIOUS MUSICIAN NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND:
Speed is not the same as progress.
You can play a piece at lightning speed and still be practising your mistakes. 😅
Slow practice is different. It exposes every wrong note, every weak finger, every uneven rhythm and every place where your technique needs work. And that is exactly why it works.
When you slow down, you are not moving backwards. You are building the foundation that eventually allows speed to come naturally. So don't practise to impress yourself with how fast you can play. Practise to become so accurate, controlled and confident that speed becomes the RESULT of your preparation.
🎹 Slow hands. 🎧 Sharp ears. 🧠 Focused mind. 🔥 Better musician.
Remember: Don't rush the process. Master the process.
