The heat was unrelenting at the Holland Primary School but so were we as we worked quickly to get some air coolers to our students when we saw the headlines. Holland remained one of our focus schools. Grateful for the opportunity to interact with the staff and students as we make their environment a bit more comfortable and conducive to learning. My favourite part? The love from little Jahzeel.

I feel like everytime I post about one of our initiatives at the JWN Foundation I say it’s my favorite but I’m gonna say it again that the scholarship program is one of my absolute faves and I think it’s because I get to interact with these amazing scholars. It’s amazing to see how much they have grown each year and like I told them at the recent tertiary awards…they make my job easier as the GM of the foundation when I see them shine so that I can continue to advocate on their behalf. Another event wrapped…another milestone celebrated!

I don’t like planning or organizing events or Lymes but I love what it does to people and I’m a sucker for making my people happy. Tamar McKenzie 🇯🇲 casually said she wanted a birthday gathering and Samuel McKenzie said “say less” and tapped me to help make it all happen. She had a good time and I’ve hung up my party planning and co-conspiring hat (unless it’s at home 😂😂) but it was apart of a summer to remember. Happy Birthday T!

Every single time I go to the Joy Spence A.E. Rum Experience my mind is blown by something more interesting, more fun or something more that I can take away. Yesterday, was a 1 on 1 tasting with the Living Legend and the world’s first female Master Blender, Joy Spence and these clips do it no justice but I’m sharing anyway. Tasting takes time so take it from me…book that trip! Book that master class! PS…I enjoyed this so much I’m about to replicate…it’s time for my elevated tastings at home so me can stay in more 😁😁😁.

The blue and white aesthetics not only matched the “fine china” at brunch but also the calm and relaxing energy. It’s so nice when everybody in the circle are in sync and the aesthetics coincidentally match. A brunch with a view and good aesthetics will always get me.
